The Village Shoppe is one of the many shops in St.Michaels Maryland, That's have everything, that you are looking for, from meats, vegetables, special liquor of all kinds, and one of a kind products that you cannot find any where else, but The Village Shoppe, I have been shopping at this shop since 2006, since moving from DC to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, That's when I came across to St Michaels and thats when we found the Bed and Breakfast, the one on the left side, when you drive into town it call the Inn in St Michaels, every store in St Michaels have a little bit of everything, that you maybe looking for, from excellent Restaurants to Shopping for clothes, or your favorite beverages, so go to the Village Shoppe, they have everything that you are looking for, and if they don't have it they would order it for you, and call you when it comes in. This store is a really adorable boutique market well stocked with premade meals, sandwiches, wines and cheese, plus tons of plants and flowers around back. The employees go above and beyond. In the butcher area, we were told about the housemade burgers and hotdogs they would be grilling later, and we came back to try one! While in line to check out, another employee offered us wine and cheese to taste after noticing us admiring the cheeses. We ended up getting the wine because it was that good. Didn’t catch either of their names, but it was truly outstanding...

I've been a customer to this shop since I moved to St Mike's about 10 years ago. I loved this place and used to come all the time, everything has since changed. The new owners don't seem to care about quality, it's all gone downhill fast. The deli section isn't what it used to be, the meats are browned, the produce was almost all rotten just sitting there still on the shelves. While the prices still remain the same, the store itself isn't a place I'd spend my money at anymore. It's so sad, such a good place with such a following and it's going to...
