Location: Within walking distance of Italia/Greek restaurant and a Mexican one. It is also walking distance to a convenience store. Shopping is nearby. It is set back on a busy street, but it is quiet.||Staff: The front desk staff was friendly. Unlike other hotels Bonvoy Gold members do not get complimentary water.||Hotel: There is no roof over the front entrance. Unloading luggage in the rain is a problem. Reasonably clean and well maintained. The small market is understocked. No ice cream. No 24 hour coffee availability. It has an indoor pool and hot tub.||Price: The rate is almost $250 for a King Suite. That is on the high side.||Room: Good size. Our room was immediately across from the elevator, but it did not cause a problem. The room is bright and well decorated. The mattress was soft and the pillows were much too fat. The room and the bathroom have good counter space.||Breakfast: Very good with an excellent attendant. The food is well stocked. They have granola with many cereal toppings. They have breakfast sandwiches as well as eggs and meat separately served.||Fitness Center: Disappointing. The room is small. There are no floor pads, but there is not enough room to lay down floor pads. No ab work or floor stretching is possible. There are two treadmills, free weights, and an elliptical machine. There is no exercise bike. The TV on one treadmill does not work.||Business Center: It is semi-private in a separate room, but the room...
Read moreA nice hotel, but staying on the weekend with a full house was a little noisy. Not much the hotel could do about the number of children running around, since that's really the parents' responsibility, but the kids were active and a little disruptive, monopolizing the pool, the one business center computer (playing games) and the lobby. Other than that, the room was comfortable and furnished nicely. We had a "stomper" above us that sometimes shook the lamps, and fortunately they quieted down after 10 pm. My only real complaint was the lack of coffee in the lobby (only provided at breakfast). Most hotels at least offer coffee and hot water, so it's ready when you arrive, and some even offer cookies. But snacks aside, fresh coffee is a nice perk that folks can appreciate after a long day. They did have a one-cup coffee maker in the room, but it was pretty basic and made very weak coffee that could be confused with tea and didn't taste good at all. Otherwise, the bed was comfy, the fitness center complete, and the breakfast covered all the basics. Kudos for a non-skid tub, which many hotels neglect. The bath area was very good, with a nice full shower head, grab bars and adequate towels. Lisa at the desk was very helpful and responsive to our needs, and we appreciated her efforts. A last point is that there's a very good Italian restaurant in front of the hotel, not connected to Fairfield, but the convenience made the stay a plus. I give the hotel...

03/26/25 - Had a decent breakfast today.
03/20/25 - Omelettes were ICE COLD in the middle. Guess no one from Marriott reads these records. Sad
03/05/25 - The bagel sandwiches were refrigerator cold in the middle!! I didn't think the cook cares one bit about the breakfast. Couldn't find the cook, so I waited at the front counter, no one for 5 minutes. So I left, sad. I wonder if the managers Steven/Tara have experienced their own "breakfast".
03/04/25 - Eggs still not good, but they had pork sausage!
02/25/25 - Another nice stay. Finally saw bacon on the breakfast! Unfortunately all the other complaints remain. Seems the front desk worker is the cook.
02/21/25 - The stay was great, except the hot breakfast. The food was always put out late, minimal variety, there was food missing, items were cold, and the scrambled eggs were a liquid paste. Wouldn't kill you to put real meat on either. Only vegetable or turkey sausage...
