We absolutely love this place. It is very cozy very nice and you can tell the owner is really care about their guests. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and we love that they leave homemade cookies out for you during the day. There is also a coffee, cocoa tea station available 24 hours. There is a hot tub to the side of the building as well as a lounging TV room downstairs with games and so on. Self check in was very easy as well. We stayed in the Spruce room and it was perfectly fine not too tiny at all for us and my partner is 6’3. We only stayed for one night and we definitely wish we stayed longer. The shuttle stop is a little farther down the road than five minutes. I would say maybe a 10 minute walk. We would happily return again and we really truly loved the experience here.

Absolutely loved everything about the Timberholm Inn. The location was in the woods away from down town but only a 4 minute drive to mountain bike at Cady Hill Forest. The property was well kept with a beautiful view. The property manager, Jonathan, was there when we arrived and gave us a tour outside. Our suite was spacious and decorated beautifully and clean! There was coffee/cocoa/tea available 24/7 in the great room. The feel was cozy and like a was living in my own rustic log cabin. The view from the great room in the morning before breakfast was amazing and quiet. Breakfast was also delicious and very filling! We will definitely be returning to the Timberholm for another stay. We had an fantastic experience!!

This was my fiance and I’s first trip to ski at Stowe. We couldn’t have picked a better, cozier, more intimate place to stay! The lodge was private and inviting, the bed was SO comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hot tub! Our all time favorite part of our stay was the breakfast!! You can’t get a better home cooked breakfast anywhere around here! The maple scones, sour cream and cinnamon cake, blueberry muffins, and bacon is what got me out of bed every morning looking forward to start a great day! Oh and the waffles on our last day were delicious and served with a berry butter. 100/10 rating. Can’t wait to come back next year :) A huge thanks to Hannah for being so kind and a wonderful host!

My group of friends stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. We had an amazing time and really appreciated all the amenities that the Inn provided. The common room was beautiful with plenty of comfortable seating, a wood fireplace, lots of games, hot drink station and beautiful views. We enjoyed the hot tub a few nights as well (towels provided right by the hot tub entrance) and it was so relaxing. The transportation service they are affiliated with (business cards at front desk) was quick, easy, and inexpensive. I'd highly recommend using them over Uber as there weren't Ubers available after 8pm. The rooms were very clean and cute. Bedrooms were a little on the small size but plenty of storage in the rooms and closets. We stayed in the Tamarack suite. The living room in the suite had comfortable seating with a TV, microwave, and mini fridge. Bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. We rarely saw other guests which was nice and we felt very comfortable and safe. The walls were a bit thin (understandably as it's an older building) so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper or have kids. Breakfast and coffee was delicious as well and there were lots of options like eggs, bacon, bagels, pastries, french toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Overall, it was the best time and we would 100% return. Thank you so much and we will be recommending your Inn to friends...

I can't say enough about how wonderful this inn is. We were first timer's in VT and booked the Timberholm Inn with having no prior knowledge of the inn or the area - and they did NOT disappoint. From the beautiful views from our Maple suite to the delicious breakfasts and coffee every morning, it was exactly the getaway we needed. My husband was even able to light a fire in their beautiful stone fireplace in the main living room space a few times, and our family loved playing shuffle board and foosball in the game room or sitting quietly in the main room overlooking the mountains. The Inn is small and peaceful, and you feel like you're stepping back in time to an age where things moved at a slower pace. It's minutes away from hiking, good restaurants/breweries, local attractions, and the quaint downtown Stowe shopping district, and yet it's tucked up in to the quiet of the woods where you truly can get away from it all. No bustling crowds or long resort lines here! And the innkeeper, Hannah, is so kind and helpful - she never stops working behind the scenes to make your stay the best it could possibly be. You should absolutely book a stay here to experience Vermont the way it was meant to be...

Not what it used to be…

This inn meant a lot to my wife; she started going there 20 years ago with friends. When we first met 9 years ago, it was out first romantic getaway. Such a charming place. Now, after 7 years, we went back during this past Easter weekend, and what a disappointment! When we arrived, there was no one around, just a basket with a little envelope with our name on it, key inside; we had to scan a QR code to check in. Went out for supper, came back in the evening, still no one around. Like, I mean…not a soul! Up at 7AM the next morning, headed to the big room, expecting to see the owners, get some fresh coffee, but…still no one at the inn but my wife and I! Had to settle for a Keurig coffee-puck that was in the dining room - ugh! Utterly disappointed, we showered, packed up, and left. When we came down at 9AM to leave, oh - humans! Little humans, though: 2 kids running around the hallways. We think there may have been an adult in the kitchen, but no one came out to greet us. We did write to the owners and got an apology, but still a...
