My group of friends stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. We had an amazing time and really appreciated all the amenities that the Inn provided. The common room was beautiful with plenty of comfortable seating, a wood fireplace, lots of games, hot drink station and beautiful views. We enjoyed the hot tub a few nights as well (towels provided right by the hot tub entrance) and it was so relaxing. The transportation service they are affiliated with (business cards at front desk) was quick, easy, and inexpensive. I'd highly recommend using them over Uber as there weren't Ubers available after 8pm. The rooms were very clean and cute. Bedrooms were a little on the small size but plenty of storage in the rooms and closets. We stayed in the Tamarack suite. The living room in the suite had comfortable seating with a TV, microwave, and mini fridge. Bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. We rarely saw other guests which was nice and we felt very comfortable and safe. The walls were a bit thin (understandably as it's an older building) so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper or have kids. Breakfast and coffee was delicious as well and there were lots of options like eggs, bacon, bagels, pastries, french toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Overall, it was the best time and we would 100% return. Thank you so much and we will be recommending your Inn to friends...
Read moreI can't say enough about how wonderful this inn is. We were first timer's in VT and booked the Timberholm Inn with having no prior knowledge of the inn or the area - and they did NOT disappoint. From the beautiful views from our Maple suite to the delicious breakfasts and coffee every morning, it was exactly the getaway we needed. My husband was even able to light a fire in their beautiful stone fireplace in the main living room space a few times, and our family loved playing shuffle board and foosball in the game room or sitting quietly in the main room overlooking the mountains. The Inn is small and peaceful, and you feel like you're stepping back in time to an age where things moved at a slower pace. It's minutes away from hiking, good restaurants/breweries, local attractions, and the quaint downtown Stowe shopping district, and yet it's tucked up in to the quiet of the woods where you truly can get away from it all. No bustling crowds or long resort lines here! And the innkeeper, Hannah, is so kind and helpful - she never stops working behind the scenes to make your stay the best it could possibly be. You should absolutely book a stay here to experience Vermont the way it was meant to be...

This inn meant a lot to my wife; she started going there 20 years ago with friends. When we first met 9 years ago, it was out first romantic getaway. Such a charming place. Now, after 7 years, we went back during this past Easter weekend, and what a disappointment! When we arrived, there was no one around, just a basket with a little envelope with our name on it, key inside; we had to scan a QR code to check in. Went out for supper, came back in the evening, still no one around. Like, I mean…not a soul! Up at 7AM the next morning, headed to the big room, expecting to see the owners, get some fresh coffee, but…still no one at the inn but my wife and I! Had to settle for a Keurig coffee-puck that was in the dining room - ugh! Utterly disappointed, we showered, packed up, and left. When we came down at 9AM to leave, oh - humans! Little humans, though: 2 kids running around the hallways. We think there may have been an adult in the kitchen, but no one came out to greet us. We did write to the owners and got an apology, but still a...
