We came to Vermont for fall foliage trip and smuggler’s notch was near to this restaurant. So it’s great location while visiting. There were many locals in restaurant who seemed like they’re regulars. Food was so fresh and delicious. Falafels were crunchiest from outside and soft from inside. And hummus was so fresh and authentic. We had falafel sandwich and falafel hummus bowl. Spicy green hot sauce that came with it was so tasty. Not a big fan of the zatar pita chips as found it a bit oily for my liking. But over all other two items were great. Pita breads were so soft and fluffy and warm. We got tahini sauce on side as well. Plenty of vegetarian options. Service was quick and all staff members were courteous. There’s gender neutral restroom and some sitting area inside and also outdoors. Loved the magic lamp outside which fits the restaurant name. They had one giraffe bench too which was amusing. Would love to come here again during next visit to Vermont for sure.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Aladdin! Pictured is the Middle Eastern bowl with falafel (i’ve also had it with the cauliflower) and both are delicious. The pita sandwich, pita chips, and hummus are also all amazing items! They’ve recently added several new items (also pictured) to their menu and I can attest that they’re all delicious and full of flavor. Aladdin also does catering and they put together a beautiful spread of yummy food for my sister’s wedding that everyone enjoyed and couldn’t help but take seconds and thirds (pictured). The ingredients are always fresh and the portion sizes are generous. I can’t wait to try more of their offerings☺️If you’re passing through Stowe, go to Aladdin! It won’t disappoint. They always go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.

I have not had falafel this good since my last trip to NYC, I got a pita sandwich from the Aladdin food truck, and wow was it delicious, and easy to eat standing up, while enjoying some great Jazz at the Ray Vega and friends concert. Every component, from the super fresh bread, to the wonderful assortment of flavorful vegetables was on point. I thought about trying to eat another, but I was pretty full by the time I got to the end of it. They seem like really nice people to boot, five stars!

From a perfect ten to a sub zero in one year!! See original 5 star review at the bottom of this one!

First time I went to Aladdin was a year ago when they first opened. They owners were awesome and the food was out of this world. I went back today and was treated like a 3rd class citizen by the lady at the cash that was making the falafel I ordered. I walked in and said “hello how are you today” the lady looked and me and didn’t even reply!! I ordered and she mumbled something in a grumpy tone! When the falafel came out of the deep fryer she proceeded to put every topping and condiment on it without asking me what I’d like!! I let it slide because it just wasn’t worth my energy getting into it with her! At the end I asked for a spoonful of hummus on the sandwich - her reply was “you didn’t ask for any while ordering”! Seriously?? $16 for a falafel pita with 4 balls and some toppings and sauce and you won’t put a spoonful of hummus on top?? Since when do you have to pay extra for hummus on a falafel pita? What planet are you on!! Zero social skills and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!! Plus the falafel was mushy - way undercooked - or fried really!

Never again - which is the complete opposite to what I wrote in my first Aladdin review!!

To be honest, they need to get rid of that lady immediately and get someone that will represent the Resto as it should be! As long as she’s there, I won’t be!

Outstanding falafel pita! Bravo Aladdin - you have hit the nail on the head for a new resto in Stowe. We will return again and again and again! Absolutely loved the freshness of all the ingredients. Friendliness is top as well. Keep up the...

Looking for somewhere that offers something different in the Stowe area food market? Something different from Burgers, Pizza and other food that you may see or eat everyday. Go to Aladdin, they specialize in authentic middle eastern food. I had the Cauliflower sandwich and it was packed with flavor and middle eastern culture. We also had the hummus which was the best hummus I have ever had. Pitas are homemade and made with love. Pita scooped with the hummus is delish. We also got the Baba Ganoush and that was also very good. Aladdin is definitely a place to check out and I will definitely be going back on a frequent basis. They also have very friendly staff. CK who is the head chef is the man!!! very friendly and likes to get to know you. He is also from the middle east so cooking this unique cuisine is...
