I want to start by clarifying, the service from the front desk is AMAZING…ALL of them are SO SWEET and very accommodating so this is not on them and it’s not their dumb rule. The cleaning staff is nice, I think, except I’ve had my room cleaned three times since I’ve been here which has been over three months. I was told they’re supposed to come every two weeks. I’ve HAD MY CAT since I moved in by the way. There was no issue. They came in and cleaned (my cat hides and is scared of everything) and that was that. Weeks passed by and no one would show. I then mentioned it to the front desk and was told that the manager said the cleaning people won’t come in here with the cats unless I was here, or if I was gone they have to BE IN A CAGE. Every human being on the PLANET knows you can’t put a cat in a crate. They are not a dog, so unless they want their hotel smelling like AMMONIA, that’s not a thing! I’ve been in the room WITH my cat before and the staff cleaned with me in here with no issues and now they won’t do that either. So I can’t be in here with them, and they won’t clean without me here so in other words, I’m paying an asinine rate for a hotel room that keeps jacking up the prices in the middle of the holiday season (even for people staying here long term), so I’m paying like $2700 a month and can’t even get my room cleaned because of my CAT. Lest not also forget I was also given ONE DAY NOTICE that I had to switch rooms in the MIDDLE OF THE WORK WEEK during open enrollment as an insurance agent, with a full hotel room because I’m temporarily living here and had no one to help me move, no boxes no nothing. Icing on the cake is I’ll have to switch rooms again, apparently! I guess the bonus side to that is that I’ll have a clean room. I tidy up, I sweep, I do the dishes, but I can’t get someone to mop, clean the toilet and the bathroom mirror because of my “scary” cat that they’ve been in the room with who was literally hiding in the bathtub. With all that’s been going on, I’m just furious at this point. Like are you serious? I wonder if the “gym” works yet. It was 400 degrees and had a treadmill and a bike ONLY when I first got here. I don’t normally write reviews like this but I’m about over everything at this point with life in general, being displaced from my home, and this is just totally ridiculous. Here are pictures of my “scary” cat that I barely see myself for reference. OH, and you don’t get any discounts for staying long term. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thanks! ☺️ Edited to add: now the people next to me are smoking weed and it’s seeping into my room when I’m battling a COLD!!!!

BUYER BEWARE: worse than a cockroach motel! This place is not what I expected. We paid $470 for 2 rooms for just 1 night and I would have paid $100 for one night at this hotel. From the parking lot there was a lady screaming at her teenage daughter, look up and 2 dogs in the window barking. Front desk check in was so slow. The only good this about the place was the pregnant lady at the front desk. She was nice and accommodating. Hotel smells weird even in the lobby. Get up to third floor to bring stuff to our first room and I hear the same lady from the parking lot yelling in room 315 and her daughter like she was right in front of me. You can hear anything people say in their rooms - out in the hallway. Get to room and lighting is dark, dim and creepy. Everything is gross and old. Pull out bed had no sheets or no extra blankets in rooms for it. Tv in room shoved in the corner and smooshed. No door from bedroom to living room. Everytime I turned up the tv in the bedroom it would turn up the volume in the living room bc they are literally 5 feet from each other. The AC unit was so gross on the bottom. My daughter took a shower and the fire alarm started going off. I see it says open windows for cooking so I tried to open them. 3 wouldn’t stay open. The only one that stayed open was the one without a screen! Ok…. I can’t get in the shower with my 2 year old out there with an OPEN WINDOW on the 3rd floor and no screen, she can just climb right out to her death. Had to take a cold shower so I could shut the window 🙄 Don’t get me started on the OTHER room. It was in worse condition I just don’t have any pics of it. The bathtub was CAVING IN and had a huge HOLE on the floor next to it! Didn’t even have any dish soap in the room. Drawers were. Gross and disgusting. Beds uncomfortable and pillows and hard and hurt my neck. Hallway is dark and dim lit. They need to tear this whole hotel down and start from scratch. Oh! And I know this isn’t the hotels fault but my family goes down for coffee and breakfast - no breakfast just hot chocolate and coffee and sugar/coffee and hot chocolate packets ALL OVER THE FLOOR. Attendant said it was an adult that did this and scattered it EVERYWHERE. I can understand their frustration. This hotel is horrible and attracts people like this who do stuff like this. Will not ever be back. The only people that stay here AGAIN would be people who live out of hotels and have no choice. This is NO VACATION hotel. It will ruin your trip. Do not come here.

I really appreciate the staff here especially the gentleman at the front desk Ramses. He was really attentive to my concerns while I didn't voice all of them most of them were dealt with quickly. I have to be honest here, staff was great, but the hotel itself needs work. Here's why. The room when I stepped in smelled like feet. I asked for Febreze to spray the room down & Ramses at the front desk helped me very quickly to acquire the Febreze to clear out the smell in the room. The room was a little claustrophobic & at first I had no anxiety but later my anxieties about being there did increase. House keeping never visited my door once. There are no coffee machines in the room, I had to ask for one, & it was a miniature that exploded coffee everywhere when I used my own filters with grounded coffee from Publix. The pool was cold, too cold to enjoy, though I'm sure during the summer months its fine. I asked for a tooth brush and tooth paste & received them from staff. The walls are not sound proof, you can hear the next room over & they can hear you. Someone was hospitalized in the hotel I do not know why but it made me nervous. The fire alarm went off late and everyone had to leave the building on one night. There was never enough coffee at the continental breakfast & it was not put out early enough for us early risers. There was no fruit at all at the continental breakfast either. Someone commented, "This place is such a tease." when the coffee machine was found to be empty at breakfast & because there is a strip club next door. There is free wifi here which was a big plus in keeping me here for the duration of my stay. The room also has a refrigerator & stove if you need to cook. I was only here for a week from March 9th-16th & it was a matter of affordability & convenience. Its almost right next to the airport so it made it easy for me to get back on the plane without travelling very far. I am giving three stars because of the above mentioned but staff was absolutely on point when I had an issue that needed to be addressed. No fault of staff for the conditions of the hotel & some of the circumstances. This hotel needs more attention to detail & a maybe a bigger budget to fulfill certain things that could be easily addressed. Thanks to staff and especially Ramses at the front desk for being kind & attentive.

This place should absolutely be shut down and condemned. We drove 8 hours from our home to Tampa, FL to arrive to a very different looking location from the pictures on the website. I have no idea how they make everything look so pleasant because believe me there is no hiding the shady looking people sitting in the back of the hotel right behind the pool dirty and looking like they are on heavy drugs. We move past this. We go in to check in and the smell of the place was a mixture of mold and marijuana. Reeked! We get up to our room and the mold smell is just as strong, a feeling on dampness and the carpets were disgusting! Not the worst part. We open up the pull couch where two of our children will be sleeping and the mattress had no blankets, it was dirty with brown and yellow stains and stench came from it. It looked as though it was picked from the garbage. We tried to flip it and the bottom was just as w with dirty although that side is no usable. We inform from desk and they are not able to provide us a new mattress and neither can they provide of with blankets to place over the mattress. They inform us it’s only one person working the night and it would possible be a few hours before we can be given blankets but it is not promised. We informed them booked a room to accommodate all six of us and they are unable to do so. We were offered to get a refund. So we took it. The receptionist informed us her manager Celine would process the refund the next day June 16th. We asked for a receipt that she could not provide and instead showed us a clip board and said our names would be placed there for a refund. We luckily were able to find a nice hotel 15 minutes away. It was night and day! We then returned from our family cruise on the 21st and see I have not received a refund. I call the hotel and speak to Maria. Maria informed me after being placed on hold she placed the refund and I should follow up with the third party booking I booked with. I call the third party and they inform me the hotel has not refunded anything. I call the hotel again and Maria bothered by my questions states she sent the refund and informed me that if they are calling to verify she is too business to answer the phone. I inquired when she placed the refund and asked if it was in our earlier conversation and she advised yes. I think it was an important detail that should have been communicated before I spent over 45 minutes back and forth between hotel and booking company. As of today the third party has yet to hear about the hotel refunded me. I will continue to follow up with this matter. I say all of this to warn anyone especially families from staying here. I have never in my life visited a place like this. It’s a definite trap...
