.As someone who grew up in New York City and even worked at Nordstrom in NY, I feel I can say this nordstrom sucks. even the Bazille cafe can not make a salad without a problem, they do not answer the phone like literally ever (I have called on 5 diff occasions) and took 20 mins to make a salad and then it came and it wasn't even the right one. fully waited 45 mins for a half a$$ salad. I don't even know how they are allowed to consider themselves a nordstrom, no one here carries our the loyalty and kindness or inclusivity that corporate nordstrom preaches. This was why I chose to not transfer to work at this store because it is a wreck i applied and didn't hear back for 7th months, i was a frequent top seller and excelled at nordstrom back home it was a company i wished to grow in until i saw this store. They have no urge to help or make sales clearly as you can walk around for hours here without being helped, the only person to ever help or offer was after walking around for 38 minutes (I set a timer) Beatrice Destin, she is the only person here who seems to care or help as she is an absolute doll and Janet from beauty. Everyone else has crossed arms a blank stank face and attitude problem. I grew up shopping at nordstrom in manhattan and refuse to step foot in here or make a purchase here in Tampa now. It truly brings me to tears because this place is not a good representation of what nordstrom stands for corporate needs to step in and seriously indoctrinate and make someone care about their brand mission and values cause it seems no one in here does. there has been multiple times I've gone in and there is no Managers in the store what kind of establishment is run that way no organization what so ever. After a deeply disappointing trip to the UTC Mall in Sarasota, where we went to celebrate my wife’s incredible achievement of completing her doctoral program, we were let down by poor customer service and a limited selection. Our excitement to mark this milestone with a special Louis Vuitton purchase was nearly ruined.
That all changed when we visited Nordstrom and met Angelo. From the moment we walked in, Angelo’s professionalism, extensive knowledge, and genuine warmth transformed our day. He treated my wife with the utmost respect, never making her feel judged or unwelcome—a stark contrast to our earlier experience. His expertise and positive attitude made the shopping process not only enjoyable but truly memorable. Angelo is the epitome of what outstanding customer service should be, and his dedication to his craft is unmatched.
Nordstrom, you are incredibly fortunate to have such a remarkable individual on your team. Please do not take Angelo for granted. He deserves recognition, appreciation, and perhaps even a raise or promotion for the value he brings to your brand. I had two shoes in my hands walking around for more than 30 minutes even had a guy pass me not even asking if I needed help! My sis in law got someone that asked her if she needed anything we were looking separately person was unprofessional and rude this happened today at 744pm/815pm cashier as I approached my sis in law I was asking her if anyone else helped her she said no, then I told the cashier nicely that seven been walking around and no one approached I had two shoes I was definitely taking and wow she said it’s because they are not designer shoes!!!!!!!!!!
