This is one of the worst hotals I have stayed in. Everyday I had to go and get clean towels and I had to empty my trash and replenish my Coffee. Because I was scheduled for surgery. I needed clean sheets the day before and none of your cleaning staff spoke any English. And I mean no English. No matter how hard I tried for towels or sheets all I got was a stair and a responsive "I speak no English". no not even enough English to get by through your job. Google translate ended up being involved. When I did get across to one of your maids, she made a phone call to a lady that would translate for us. What this staff member of yours didn't know is I can understand Spanish way better than I can speak it. What I did understand is she called me a redheaded, white old lady. I was not mad at her and was trying to communicate with her so that was really uncalled for. And when I told her I understood what she said the look on her face, well, she turned white. I have no problem with immigrants and non-native speakers however, they need to it at least know how to say, towels, sheets, pillowcases, trash bag, dirty, etc. The three maids I spoke to knew none of those words. So when I handed her my dirty towels she set them in the same bin as clean towels so I went to the front desk for towels. I got a trashcan with no bag, and three sheets none of them are fitted, and had to get coffee from the front desk. One younger, Hispanic girl was extremely nice and tried her best to communicate with me. If she had just only known a few of the words we would’ve got along well.

Our room was dirty. There was black hair on the bathroom floor and a used tampon in the the trashcan. One of the worst is when I saw one of your maids getting a bath in the sink in your main restroom on the main floor. She was all in it to face, arms, paper towels in the armpits. If she’s homeless, give her room to get a bath. Yeah thats bad. I don't expect you to clean my room every day and make my bed every day. However, I do expect to have clean towels, replenished coffee supplies, and the trash removed. Your desk staff was nice and even though your maids did not speak English, most of them were nice. Needless to say I will not be returning to your hotel and I will transfer that to anybody else that I know will be coming to...

UPDATE: Hotel Mgt dishonesty- Avoid This Hotel: Safety Issues and Unauthorized Charges

In addition to my original post the hotel below replied they did not charge me. See my Apple Card transaction. Goldman Sachs, Apple Card Servicer, confirmed charge for $500 mirror and is disputing the charge. Outrageous cost. Stay away from this hotel -not worth the hassle! Check other sites. I’m not the only one having issues.

If you check my other Google reviews, you’ll see that I typically leave very positive feedback. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, which should tell you just how serious this issue is.

I have major concerns about the safety of the furniture in this hotel, especially for families with young children or those with mobility issues. The ottomans in the rooms are on wheels—something you wouldn’t expect for a piece of furniture meant for resting your feet.

In my case, the ottoman rolled away unexpectedly with just a slight bump, flying into a mirror and cracking it. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk in person. They assured me that maintenance would check it out, but I never received any follow-up. The next day, when checking out, I inquired again and was told that if I hadn’t heard anything, everything was fine.

However, a day later, I noticed a $537.28 charge on my credit card—with no prior notice, invoice, or explanation. After being transferred multiple times, I finally spoke with Ahmed, the head of guest services, who informed me that the charge was for replacing the mirror. I explained what had happened, assuming they would acknowledge the issue with the unstable ottoman and remove the charge. Instead, Ahmed offered to lower the fee to $250—for what looked like a basic full-length mirror. I refused and chose to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

With so many hotel options near Tampa Airport, I strongly recommend skipping this one. They are not customer-friendly, and if anything unexpected happens, don’t expect fairness or understanding. Save yourself the hassle and...

So at check-in there is an authorization for the amount of stays that normally falls off at check out! Well I checked in on April 3 and my card was authorized 1572.79, 2 days later the hotel went in an tried to get an payment of 831 which was declined due to on the 3rd there was an authorization of the total stay. From there the hotel made many attempts and I mean many attempts such as 200 dollars times 4 attempts , then 631 on several attempts! Navy Federal continued to decline! The problem they were having is you authorized the whole amount for the stay but then you go back and try to authorize for 2 days after arrival! Bank and I spoke with manager and advised them hey you already have an pending authorization you can’t go back and try an authorize more. So they were told the 831 that you have tried to get numerous times you will have to wait till that falls off then you can authorize for the remaining 2 days! Boy did they not like that! So I checked out made my 4 hour trip and here comes to harassment! Hi this is the manager at Hilton Tampa WestShore we need a card to process payment!! Sir you have been told just as we have to wait to get our incidentals back you will have to wait until yall F up an the 831 fall off to get the remaining of the payments! He again did not like that! Well yesterday the 831 fell off🤣🤣 I see they received their payment. No call but I called them and they hung up in my face! I’m not sure as to y they felt the need to 2 days later try an get an new authorization but Navy Federal was not hearing that! Beds are hard as rocks, 16 dollars for eggs stale potatoes, bacon & watered down orange and then the waiter wants a tip🤣🤣 Never again because yall tried it!!!!! Very Dishonest had I not put on my card exactly what was needed for stay and used another card I would have been got real good! They kept trying to authorize payment...

DO NOT STAY HERE! November 2024 - completely under construction and should not be allowed to have guests I arrived at this hotel late on Nov 5th to find the front entrance closed for construction. With signs pointing to a door around the back of the hotel- it certainly didn’t feel safe for a single woman by herself. Add to that the only sidewalk to the door was BLASTING the sprinklers and I and my luggage got drenched. I got to my room where discovering the ice machine in my floor was broken- so I went down to the floor below- to find it an active construction zone with no barrier to walking onto the floor (and no ice machine). same for the 4th floor. Finding the one on the 7th that worked, it gave me ice mixed with dust and sand and dirt. It was already a stressful night so I asked the front desk via text about where I could find a working ice machine and got a response 4 hours later- after I was asleep- to “try a different floor” My room had no closet or anywhere to hang clothes. There were hangers shoved at the bottom of a cabinet- but not where to hook them. I even paid for an “upgrade” to this room. I stayed across the parking lot at the Homewood Suites a few nights before and it was lovely. This hotel SHOULD NOT be operating in its condition. There are plenty of other Hilton properties within walking distance- do NOT stay here. On top of this - I've heard nothing from management regarding this stay after contacting them twice. (There is a lot more dirt in the ice bucket than the picture shows )
