Katie's Cozy Suites — Hotel in Tombstone

We had a great time again in Tombstone. March 5-8th. This was our first time staying at Kates Cozy Suites and will definitely plan to stay again. The room was clean, well laid out, and quiet for being near the heart of downtown. Plenty of room to spread out. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. We had access right out of our back door to the worlds largest Rose bush! It was perfect for sitting under first thing in the morning drinking our coffee and sitting under the lights in the evening, enjoying a glass of wine 😄 It wasn’t in bloom yet, (that happens in April), but beautiful nonetheless. There is a “house cat” from the museum next door that would come and visit us. We lovingly named him Timmy Tombstone. He likes to hang out in the Tree. We arrived a little early for check-in and was accommodated to being able to enter early. Wi-Fi is available. Parking is on-street. We didn’t personally have an issue keeping the spot that is reserved for the suite however, it’s not enforced parking, so others can end up parking there. There is other parking on the street and a nearby parking lot to use. For us the parking was not an inconvenience. The location of the suite and the accommodations overshadow the parking. We had an amazing stay at Katie’s Cozy Suites! The location truly can’t be beat – just steps away from Tombstone’s historic attractions and lively saloons, yet still a peaceful retreat when you’re ready to wind down. Having 24/7 access to the rose tree was a unique and beautiful experience that everyone should have at least once. It really added a special touch to our trip.

Our only minor issues were that the bed frame seemed a bit broken, which made for a slightly less comfortable sleep than we’d hoped, and the fridge had a bit of a funky smell, which made it hard to store food for a longer stay.

That said, the overall vibe and charm of the suite more than made up for these small inconveniences, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay. With just a few small fixes, this place would be a perfect 5/5 for us. Thanks for a memorable stay - we can’t wait to come back!

An amazing place to stay, right in the heart of Tombstone.

Cozy rooms, right off the historic Tombstone main street. During the off-season the room rates were extremely reasonable.

The space in each room was large, clean, and comfortable. The beds were soft and inviting, the bathrooms were charming and unique, and the special private access to the rose bush was a treat.
