At first glance, this hotel looked quite nice – the exterior was clean and modern, and we were hopeful for a pleasant stay. Sadly, that impression changed as soon as we stepped into our room. The first room we were given had clearly not been properly cleaned. The bedsheets were visibly dirty, and the overall condition of the room felt unhygienic and neglected. We went straight back to reception to report the issue. To be fair, the receptionist was actually quite nice and seemed genuinely surprised by the situation. She apologized and gave us another room without hesitation. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. There were hairs and what looked like animal fur all over the bed, on the floor, and even in the bathroom. It honestly felt like no one had cleaned the room at all. So we changed rooms once again. The third room was a slight improvement. The bed looked cleaner, and the room felt somewhat more acceptable at first glance. However, once we settled in, we started noticing the same issues – dust in the corners, grime in the bathroom, and a general lack of attention to detail when it came to cleanliness. The worst moment came when we discovered a dead cockroach lying on the floor near one of the chairs. That was the final confirmation that hygiene here is far from being a priority. In summary: the hotel might look good from the outside, but don’t be fooled. We had to change rooms three times, and none of them met basic standards of cleanliness. The receptionist tried to help and was actually kind and surprised by the state of the rooms, but clearly, the problems go deeper than just one person at the front desk. We would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel unless they take major steps to improve their...
Read moreAs two old friends checking out southern Arizona in February 2025 we stayed at Inn-History Tombstone for two nights. The property has very comfortable remodeled rooms, newly constructed fire pit and outdoor lounge chair patio, with additional plans for the office being enlarged and redecorated to meet the 1880 theme for the entire property. The rooms were clean, decorated in a delightful western theme with beds that are very comfortable. In room microwave and fridge worked well and were very clean. It was great to find this level of comfort in Tombstone. Only a very short walk past the Tombstone Epitaph brings you to Tombstone's main street with all it's fun historical sights and activities. With our plans to visit various sights in Bisbee, Douglas, Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca the Inn-History Tombstone was centrally located and a great place to come back to each night. I certainly plan to stay here again, possibly at Helldorado...
Read moreTruly. The perfect little place! Right down the street from the Old Town area, surrounded by mom and pop shops and local restaurants. The room with 1 King bed, bottom floor was so cozy! AC was amazing! But the bed... let me tell you. That bed is so comfy, my husband and I finally got some much needed comfy sleep with the cooling and warm blanket on top! I loved that we could request maid service but that they didn't come every day. It's not always needed. But my favorite part was the front desk girl! I called a week before we came down and asked the latest we could check in, she said "office closes at 8, but if you think youll be later than that, we can give you the room code to get into the room for the night!" What?! That is unheard-of in today's society. Then when I asked about the beding, she sent me the link! ITS SO COMFY! I can't wait to own it!! Truly amazing! Thank you hotel, keep hiring...
