I came in this morning with just a couple questions. while waiting I noticed the woman short hair glasses had about three interactions before and she seemed like she was really aggravated to even be there. Every interaction with her involved an eye roll and sour. Of course I received the same interaction. I’m sure my high pitched annoying voice is a lot to handle(I’m still trying to figure out a way to get new vocal cords) she did answer all my questions. While ending I was actually sincerely asking how her day was and was wishing it to get better… very innocent. Guess the tall bald man didn’t like my friendliness.(kindness is taken for granted way too often) He piped to tell her she didn’t do or say anything wrong; he’s right she didn’t. Body language spoke for her and I was actually (the southern belle I am) wishing her a better day. However he while interacting with customers made a point to address me while interacting as if I was the problem for wishing someone’s day gets better is absolutely astonishing! I really think New York is very angry and I understand this pandemic has done absolutely everything to ruin our nation… but to behave badly to a customer for wishing someone’s day better is crazy! I managed stores bigger than that with way more customer flow to tolerate both staff members behaving unprofessionally to customers who are just passing on some kindness bc the world sucks right now !! They are way more...
Read moreI could write book about the terrible experience that I had today so I will try to keep this short as possible. We were in the store for 3 hours wanting to transfer 4 phones from Verizon to Spectrum. There we TWO employees at the start (one was in training) and a line of 15 customers signed in, one customer just waiting to pay a bill after an hour or so he noticed a bill pay machine that was well hidden from view. After about 2 ½ half hours a third employee pops out and we were called on, he was a nice guy but had a heavy smell of marijuana (that is legal in New York) but imagine if your smelled a heavy odor of beer (Still legal but there is a time for that to.) So an hour goes buy and we get all the info into the computer and he stated that the card had a problem so I gave up and left as we had a dinner appointment will friends. We traveled about 45 minutes and got to our destination and I realized that he still had my driver’s license so back we went. The lines we much smaller by now and I went directly to him and asked for my license back and saw a customer in tears. Two days prior they have a sign up stating temporary hours through 6/13/2024 I took this picture on 6/17/2024. Chech my credit card company and the amount showed as a temporary charge. Now to get the canned response about contacting your company on facebook. I sure thats...
Read moreThey basically kidnapped us! We decided to get new phones from them because they were doable payments for the brand new galaxy. We did it over the phone. We were waiting on these kits to mail our old phones in for credit, I called once a week, they never came till the day that they had to receive them! So, I tried porting our numbers back over to Verizon. Unfortunately since spectrum had the phones locked, we couldn't. So I then paid spectrum the whole balance and we now own the phones. The Verizon guy managed to get husband's number changed back to old phone, but couldn't get mine, so after much frustration, verizon said I would have to get a new number. I did. Then we have our old phones working so, we go over to Spectrum to have new ones unlocked, they say we can not get them unlocked until 60 days even though we own the phones! I got hulu back and now I only have to use their internet. Another guy at spectrum seemed to think we will never get them unlocked 🔓 if they try anything like that after what we paid, omg. I cant think about that, but really, to hold our phones hostage. Real effed up. Verizon even said that none of the cell companies do that! Im so mad. So, ya, just wanted to warn as many people as I can, dont get roped into getting new phones there. Oh also they wouldn't even let us give them back because that had to be done by...
