I bought a crew cb29 online and paid Martin to "professionally" assemble it. It was falling apart from day one. He put blue threat locker on all the bolts and basically hand tightened EVERYTHING including the bottom bracket (eu inboard 19mm spindle) which backed itself out on the driver side and is now almost completely seized!!!! I'm not exaggerating when I tell you he didn't properly torque anything on the bicycle at all. All the grease came out of the shell and dirt and debris entered it which caused the whole crank and bb assembly to get very crunchy. I called hoping he would correct the issue and was told he would charge a service fee and would have the bike for a day or 2. I have to buy tools to rebuild it myself, hopefully don't need new bearings or new bb altogether. Very unpleasant and frustrating experience and a waste of money. I brought my bike to him to get the shifters as dialed as possible despite having a 20 year old, worn out rear derailleur, and he got the thing shifting almost as good as new (given the circumstances). I also brought my rims to him to be trued, thinking the turn around was going to be a week but he had them done, re-taped and ready to go within two days time. The owner is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and when it comes to getting work done, his turn around rate is very quick. Marty the owner was great. He helped me select the right bike for myself (I am just getting started into biking). He gave my daughter a bell for her bike which wasn't even purchased from him. When we got home I noticed a fish Hook in the front tire. I called there and and was told to bring it back to him. Marty put in a new tube at no charge and even changed the bell he gave my daughter because it didn't fit her handle bars.
