Update: 11/8/2024 The owner replied to "Danielle" with a form letter. WHO is "Danielle"? Original review 11/7/2024: It was the cleanliness (or lack thereof) that got me. There were toenail clippings in the bedroom, a sign that vacuuming was not done thoroughly. The bathroom sink did not have a drain. The desk clerk Sadie said they didn't have any in the office. Dollar Tree sells the mesh ones, until a.plumber can install one. I informed Sadie at the desk that if my wedding ring went down the drain all bets were off and I would get a wrench and a pair of pliers. The refrigerator needed defrosting. There was an extra pillow for the sofa but no linen. In a room that sleeps three (at a minimum) there was only one day with 3 or more full sets of towels. I went to the desk every night to pick up towels, so that we had 4 full sets. The air vents are in the ceiling and the light fixtures in the bedroom has visible dust on it from the vents. They have a "No Party" rule. Meaning, you cannot have more than two visitors or you'll be expelled without refund. Imagine spending three nights at over $400 for rooming house rules. When I pointed the sign out to my husband, he said he 'wondered why we were staying here again because he remembered that sign from last year.' The breakfast was basic, the computer area is a counter top in the lobby, there was a beer can in the middle of the floor in the hallway (first floor) when we arrived and when we left 45 minutes later. It was gone when we returned about 10pm. The location is near a main road. There are four electric car chargers but there are no signs. So, anyone could park there. That defeats the purpose.

This hotel provided me with a fantastic experience overall. The breakfast was consistently hot and served promptly, although having more than one waffle maker would have been beneficial. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. The lobby was clean and inviting, although having more luggage carts available would be helpful. The front desk staff were excellent in their customer service, even offering complimentary cookies in the lobby. The pool was enjoyable, as was the hot tub, although individuals with high blood pressure should be cautious with the hot tub's temperature. The gym was well-equipped and provided a great space to unwind after a long day, with amenities like a weight scale and TV available. The elevator operated smoothly, and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing, catering mostly to families with children. The housekeeping staff were accommodating and diligent in ensuring cleanliness. However, the TV in the room could benefit from an upgrade, as could the channel selection. The beds were cozy, with more soft pillows than firm ones. Overall, the hotel provided a pleasant and comfortable stay, with its convenient location being a bonus for accessing nearby attractions and amenities.

Ok, first impression terrible. Front desk clerk was wearing no mask ; however, it clearly allowed me to witness her lack of personality, hospitality or warmth. She managed to check me in while utilizing only 13 words! After sliding my credit card, photo ID and room keys to me , as if air hockey pucks , I was off to see my room! Thank God it was a welcome surprise. Clean, fresh and inviting , all the things I missed at the front desk. The comforter was in clumps as if washed in a commercial washer and tossed in a dryer. However, around 9:00 p.m. it sounded like the adjacent rooms occupants were coming through my wall. As I was getting dressed to complain to the front desk , I witnessed 8 police officers approach the room, and then yelling and screaming filtered out into the hallway. This has been my worst experience ever! Left several messages for “Kim” the GM without a response. No surprise there.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! So I stayed here in March to attend an event that was located near this hotel. I was charged at 3pm for the room, prior to checking in. When I checked in and was greeted by the staff, I was asked for my card to put on file. I asked what was the incidental cost, informed the representative that I already paid then presented my card. The representative them attempted to charge my card multiple times for an already paid for room. She then said there was no incidental charge and gave me my card back. When I got to the room, the room smelled of a mold or mildew smell. I callwe front desk and requested to change rooms, she told me that they didn't have anything compatible and the only thing she cab do was spray the room with a freshener. I asked for management which I was informed wasn't on property during the weekend. Pressing time, I got dressed and wen to my event, which didn't end til 2am. When I returned and turned the heat on in the room, the heat blew cold air. I made front desk aware, and was told the heat needed to warm. I dosed off and woke up to an ice box. My voice was completely gone. I went downstairs and told the front desk person again. Note this stay was Friday night into Saturday morning. My birthday was Sunfay still no voice. Monday morning still no voice but I called and talked to the manager. I informed him of everything that transpired, as well as gave descriptions of the staff members that I had been in contact with. I spoke with the manager at 8:05 am who told me he would have to give me a call after speaking with the staff to confirm events. 2:30 pm comes and I have still not back. back from the manager so I call back. The front desk lady keeps asking what do I need with the manger each time I call. Now 3:30 comes and I am just able to reach the manager again who then asks me what is my situation. I asked the manager, how is it that he told me he would call me back after investigating but he doesn't even know my complaint. I was told by the manager that I would either restate the events or he will disconnect the line, that he was busy this morning and didn't have time to take any notes on the call, not even my number. I then told him everything that transpired and he offered me a 10% refund that I told him was not sufficient. He then told me if I wanted my money back I should've never stayed and just left. He also told me if my heat wasn't working I should've told someone earlier, why would I wait til early morning. I asked the manager his name and for cooperate number. The manager refused his name and told me to search cooperate number on Google and hung up in my face. I called back they would not answer. When they got tired of me calling he answered and with a rude tone asked me what I wanted. I requested his name again for my records he refuses. I spoke with cooperate who offered apologies and a refund. Fast forward over a week goes by with no voice and with In that time, I now had developed a cough. I end up having to go to the er and was informed that I had a allergic reaction to the mold inhalation, causing me to have broncospasms. It flared up both my asthma and bronchitis. My job consists of me talking on the phones all day so I missed over a week of work. If you value your health and sanity, I strongly advise not...

Our stay was OK. Staff was very friendly. Lobby and breakfast area appeared clean. Dissapointing that pool was under maintenance so we could not use that. Our room appeared clean, however there was a heavy layer of dust around the sprinkler in event of a fire. The AC was VERY loud so we had difficulty sleeping in the night. Also mini fridge was not working so we were unable to use it. No remote for TV. We did speak to front desk at checkout so hopefully it will be fixed for the next person staying there. Receptionist was apologetic, very nice, and took notes. We only stayed one night as we were en route to the South. They have a fitness center. It's small, but useful. No complaints with equipment. But my biggest complaint is 1) 14 min limit on treadmill. No one was using the area at all so I think it's silly to have it auto shut off after 14 min. Fitbit doesn't even register a run unless it's 15 min or more. Whatever I just restarted to try and get the full benefits of a workout. 2) After my workout, I was shocked to see no towels, disinfectant wipes to wipe anything down. Gross. Hand sanitizer was out. I am not one to wear masks everywhere but if the pandemic has taught us anything, it's that sanitizing high germ areas and hands are very important... especially for a fitness area. While things are no longer shut down, masks are a thing of the past, there should still be disinfecting materials available in a fitness center...covid or not, but especially after what was experienced during the pandemic. Breakfast was descent. Overall for the price, it was OK. Our next trip down South we will likely stay else where though.

Update: we gave this place another shot over a year later... front desk was still nice... however we had difficulty with them answering the phone when notifying them of our late arrival. Came in late and still waited a while for a staff member to help us. Also check out is at 12 noon. They deactivated our keys before 11am. I do not think we will...

The reason I scored it a six is because the arrangements the reservation I made they did not place it or keep it and stated to me on the books I'm 70 years old and was grieving and was coming up for my daughters funeral and visit the cemetery when I got to the hotel they gave me a one queen size bed room I requested 3 weeks prior two queen bed suite so they did not lock in my reservation that they promised me that I requested and told me they could not change it so it was like you accept this one bedroom with two queen beds that I could hardly move around in with a mobile chair the hotel is clean the dining room is efficient everything about the hotel is excellent but it doesn't matter what you reserve you're not guaranteed to get it. So as I was in the process of trying to find somewhere else to go because I needed a sweet and I need it larger room space to move my mobile chair around mind you I'm 70 and disabled in a mobile chair it's the reason I asked for a two queen bed suite. Very very disappointed I will not stay there again because they can't seem to get the reservation and keep the reservation that you discussed with whom ever over the phone but I must say even through it all the clerk at the front desk I don't know who she called in the ending but somehow they claim they got it a cancellation and they gave me a one king bed Suite that still was not around because my partner needed his own bed and no he didn't want to open up the sofa bed that was not what I requested when I made my reservation so my words to you all when you make your reservations make sure that's what you going to get because all they told me is they were overbooked and they took my sweet away from me so I was very very disappointed and I don't think I will ever go back to that hotel again for that reason and that reason alone because when I make a reservation I want what I've asked for what I...
