It all began with a chair. A little mid-century piece that needed new fabric for the cushions. U-Fab was recommended to us because of the vast selection of fabrics. My husband and I walked in and were honestly overwhelmed with the choices! Will, a sales associate, asked if he could help us. We told him we wanted a fabric that would be soft, wear well, not fade when cleaned, and was easy to clean. He guided us to Crypton fabrics. We selected a perfect fabric and the chair ended up looking great! Then, we came back with a mid century sofa and chair as well as a vintage swivel rocker. Again, Will helped us choose what would work best for us- encouraging us to check out several samples to take home and return later. We ordered our fabrics and hoped that everything would look as good as we had envisioned. It did not. It was FAR BETTER! The upholstery team did an amazing job of bringing these torn, worn-down pieces of furniture to life! There have been spills, muddy paw prints, and mystery marks- but they all wiped away easily from the Crypton fabrics that Will recommended- and no after-wiping water marks!! Everyone In Richmond should buy every piece of furniture and window treatments from U-Fab. I am serious! I have never experienced the level of superior customer care that U-Fab has delivered. I ordered many window treatments, pillows, and a sofa. The design experience was wonderful, but the follow up was Truly amazing. The sofa was purchased from a manufacturer eight months ago. It gets light usage and the cushions began to compress. Very disappointing! Ana, the manager, responded immediately and sent one of their senior fabricators To my home the next morning. He took the cushion covers plus one cushion back to the store “ to determine how best to follow up”. Five hours later, (Same day! ) Ana texted that they had created Five NEW custom inserts with high-quality material they had in the work room. There was no delay with “ Let’s see what the manufacturer says”… they just did it! They were delivered at 9:30 the following morning!
