I'm from LA and I will say that this place has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I don't know if it was because I didn't mesh well with the crowd or because I don't fit the bartenders standards, but every time I went into this place, no one seem to respond to me in a cordial fashion except Treasure, Hanna, and Jessica. Every time i saw Farrah, she was Always welcoming to me as well. I have definitely dealt with more cultures in LA but this particular location doesn't respond well to customers who are newcomers to their location. In fact, I saw more of a very redneck type of bar whose patrons don't do well if they don't know you. I had one bartender, kelly, during majority of her shift that didn't want to serve or deal with me due to her interactions with all her redneck friends at the bar. Even when her shift changed over she didn't ask me if I wanted to close out. I found out from the next bartender, xhennetta( pronounced Jeanneta) , who didn't know how to make a lemon drop at the time, that my tab had been changed over to her. I guess since they were friends, they would share the tips. Then some customer of theirs that I've never dealt with or seen before decided to chime in on a conversation that had nothing to do with him. I almost got into a fight with him. Now I'm not saying this place is racist but their interactions with black people isn't the best and I'm a white guy. Btw, if you are a person who likes a variety of music, don't play from the touch Tunes. The touch tunes selection has filtered out alot of modern day music as well as very popular top 40 music that you can find anywhere else. In fact, if you go to locals bar Bryans Park formerly Sonny's and/or Kickback Jack's up the street from here, you will find that you can play any and every artist you would like to hear from touch Tunes. I went back to this place after my incident day with one of their patrons and apparently i have been told that I can't come back anymore. Now the problem with this is that, I spoke with the manager on duty at the time , Frank, who never said anything about me not being able to come back. So, after having to drinks and being server by Aaliyah with open arms another day, this manager Greg comes to me to tell me that I can't come in anymore. So when I acts for facts, he couldn't tell me anything but it doesn't matter what I think or my thoughts were. So I threatened to sue knowing seeing and going to do anything. So, here I am, instead giving the Best possible review that someone should have and use to their greatest advantage. So Thank You Hooters for giving the chance to never show up again! Stay Blessed. STAY FLAGRANT WITH YOUR...
Read moreI've been ordering from this hooters (carry out) regularly for about two years. I usually get their boneless wings platter on Wednesday, which is when they have a special for that menu selection. I called and spoke with, who I later found out to be the GM, and ordered a boneless wing platter, spicy garlic, with blue cheese (my usual). I get there and a girl named Mandy rings me out. My total is $9.49, the price I usually pay for the platter when it is not Wednesday. She hands me the bag. I check in it and see that there is just 10 wings, no fries. I told her they forgot the fries. She checks and says they didn't charge me for fries. I said, well I ordered the "boneless wing platter" please add the fries. She informs me she'll have to recharge me. I tell her that's fine, but that is my usual total for the platter. She informs me their prices went up and the total for the plater will be $10.49. It say that's fine recharge me. She then tells me it will be too hard to void it out and she would have to charge me for the fries as a side item, which would be $2.99. That would bring my total for this meal to close to $14.00, the same price as a steak from outback b/c she was charging me as an entree. I told her it's all good forget about it.
That night, they lost a regular customer. They messed up the order and she couldn't just go back there and throw some fries in my box? How much would that of cost them? I guess it would have hurt hooters to much to fix their mistake and add some fries and keep a customer. The very least she could have done was voided it out and charged me the extra $1.00 for some fries. For this reason I will never go back. On top of that, Mandy had an attitutude about the whole situation like I was inconveniencing her and it was my fault, when really her GM took the order wrong. I wonder if he would have fixed the mistake...Oh well, I won't...
Read moreExtremely poor and rude service. I ordered 20 wings and an app of curly fries topped with other ingredients as well as jalapenos. We waited for over 30 minutes, and there was no app, no food. I stopped the waiter and asked how much longer, and she said I will go check right now, we had "other big groups come in, so we are preparing orders for them". NOTE that they came 30 minutes after us. Liar. THEN, she brings out the food a second later, and the wings were cold as heck, there were no jalapenos on the fries, and there was no celery when I clearly ordered it. We complained about the cold wings, and she bought her manager who willingly made us new ones. However, I had to ask the waiter for jalapenos for my fries while I was waiting for the new wings, and she takes the fries back only to put FOUR pieces of jalapenos on the entire dish. When I asked for extra, she comes back with a cup filled with jalapenos and as she places the cup down, she says with an attitude "Our manager was cutting them up fresh for you...... YOU'RE WELCOME" .. before I could even say thank you. I complained about her demeanor to the manager and she rudely said that I can get you another waitress and NO ONE ever came.
Hooters, I did not think you would consider your manager cutting up jalapenos for a customer, a huge deal. Both the manager and waitress need a reality check, seriously. Not only are the staff lying, but they are also very disrespectful about it. I have no intentions of coming back to this location any time soon, unless management changes. You NEED to change some things around at this location, because it is hurting other customersâ...
