Stopped in to see about ordering replacement cushions on our way home. I wanted high quality materials so thought this would be a great place to order custom cushions for our outdoor living area. Maybe my casual dress and no makeup applied threw this lady off??? She was so condescending to me. She reminded me several times that the cushions were custom. Even though I told her I knew the measurement and that they were a very standard size, she insisted I bring in a cushion I had at home. I tried explaining that the current cushions were big box store replacement and not the original ones and that I had measured already myself. Nope she continued to explain that I didnt understand. They would be custom. No kidding. That's what I came for! I know this place is a bit pricey. But they use quality materials and that was what I was after. Maybe I didnt appear to be smart enough?? Maybe I was too dressed down in my flip flops and loose bun atop my head?? Who knows. What I DO know is I felt like she treated me as if I was in the wrong place to afford their products and didnt have the intelligence to understand what custom meant. Rude! We traveled from Northern Virginia to the Summer Classics store in Richmond and it was well worth the trip. The designers are fabulous, and the customer service is great, keeping us updated on the status of our order (during Covid-19, sigh).
