I am not from the area, nor have heard of thisn place and always on the hunt for non-mainstream chain eateries I know, I want different! And, I wanted to find a pizza place and buffet that won't break the bank..This was my first time visiting Pizza Pie Cafe, and I would come back again.
The selection was great, very good pizza. I liked the different, freshly made hot pizzas, with pizazz and topped with various flavors such as BBQ Chix, and Buffalo Wing and regular 'ol Pep.
Buttery crustage and goodness too, though I did not find any cracker thin crust, and the salad bar was a good healthier option too and and that point I needed a salad, curiously no French dressing though...
The pasta bar was alright, and only went there one time, many different pastas, and sauces, white, to meat marainara..good stuff. The prices were very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat buffet, better than I expected, and worth it for the quality of food I was enjoying, higher quality than what I am used too.
I liked the decor and the way the theme is of the restaurant and they have semi-private cubby type bootha a lone, diner, traveling on the road can enjoy, without being bothered.
Nice, professional employees and great customer service make this eatery one I would visit many times over, music was too loud for me, I don't like loud music when dining, but I understand the vibe of the place is trying to put out. Thanks for the great food, clean bathrooms and comfy surroundings, Pizza Pie Cafe...
Read moreLove pizza pie cafe!! We come in all the time but we went in Monday evening and it was a big group (16 of us). The friendly cashier was super nice and helpful as soon as we walked in. We paid and there was nowhere to sit a big party so we asked if we could sit in the party room she said yes no problem we headed to the back the girl back there by the name of Nikki I believe got super angry and went and told her something in front of us very unprofessional! Then Nikki comes and blocks the dining room with chairs after we were sitting down, the whole time was just staring down at us we could literally hear her telling the kitchen staff things about us sitting there as we were super close to the kitchen open area. I guess she was in charge of that back room because she asked another table back there party of 3 if they were ok picked up their plates but never bothered to come to our table. The cashier did come and apologize for Nikki’s rude behavior towards us so I did complain to the manager on shift as we were leaving and her response was I was already aware of the situation the cashier let me know but never once did she apologize until I asked to speak to a manager as we were leaving. Her behavior was uncalled for and very...
Read more27Jan2023 = good visit, nice staff, yummy spinach fettuccine with marinara. Wish there were more veggie pizza options on hand.
Pretty good value for all you can eat salad, pizza, and pasta bars, along with soda etc.
Pasta area looked a bit confusing as to what was available as it mostly appeared unused, no signs or views of much to know what to do or ask for.
Decent selection of pizzas and desserts.
The place is really nice inside, cool little couples corners etc, fully updated interior etc building and facility wise definitely the nicest pizza joint in town, but still hasn't turned me totally from mainly frequenting the others either.
Since gertie's is gone and Idaho pizza doesn't operate the same any more, this is the only all you can eat pizza joint in this area.
My favorite part is the decor.
Drink options are decent.
Salad bar quality and cleanliness could be better.
Keeping pizza stocked with more varied and fresher options could be better.
The only all you can eat pizza place in this...
