My fiancé and I went there during the Memorial Day sale (believe we went the 26th or 27th) simply for a full sized mattress to put in our guest bedroom for friends/family to sleep, during our visit we had an employee tell us there were two floor models (Queens) available which being as they were “floor models” they’d be not only discounted but most likely cheaper then any of the other Memorial Day discounted mattresses. That persuaded us to go home and measure our guest room to see if a queen would fit, ultimately it did and because of what the employee said about the mattress being extremely cheap and how persuasive she was we literally purchased a queen sized bed frame that night. I called that Memorial Day weekend (28th) on my lunch break which the employee said was her day to work when giving us her business card, to find out she was not only not working but the manager picked up and informed me that everything the employees said was COMPLETELY FALSE and that the floor models were not included in the sale and would most definitely not be cheaper then any mattresses involved in the sale. This was extremely irritating to me because we literally bought a queen sized bed frame because of her persuading us to go with the queen mattress instead of the full which we initially intended on purchasing. Because of my work schedule I was unable to get out there to figure everything out till yesterday (June 1st) when my fiancé and I arrived an employee Andrew helped us, initially didn’t seem like there was anything he could do about our situation there was no manager in store but after helping us find a discounted queen mattress not only did he give us the Memorial Day discount but because of the mistake the other employee made with giving us false information being as I was prior service he also stacked a military discount on top of it giving us an additional 20% off our purchase. To me that most certainly made amends for the other employees mistake and we will most definitely shop there again for our long sized mattress once we’re...
Read moreThey sure know how to sell a mattress, but they don’t stand by their product! DON’T believe the warranty they claim to have on their mattresses because it’s a third-party that mattress firm has nothing to do with! I purchased a mattress for my son and not even a year later it was starting to dip & is uncomfortable. My son is a 5 9” 130 pounds. I contacted the location that I purchased the mattress from ( Collegeville PA) and I was told to go through the online steps to file a warranty claim. I did that & took pictures of the mattress & submitted everything. Maybe 48 hours later I received an email telling me that based on the measurements that they got by “looking at the photos” that I uploaded the claim was denied. Like I mentioned above it wasn’t even a year since the mattress had been purchased. I contacted the manager, Chris from the Collegeville PA location, and he told me that they have nothing to do with the claim and that it’s all third-party, and that there wasn’t much he could do. I called back again and Chris said that he reached out to his regional manager, and told me that his GM said that he will try and see what’s going on with the claim and if it doesn’t work out, then allow for an exchange in the store. He said he would get back to me, and he never did! I had to call back two times and he never returned my call. The third time I called, Chris picked the phone up and told me that there’s nothing he can do, “sorry”. When I reminded him about the conversation we had, when he “assured” me that this will be taken care of, he seemed to not care and pretty much said he can’t do anything about it and reiterated that the warranty is not with Mattress Firm, it’s with a third-party and they have nothing to do with it and can’t control their decisions! So sad! **Go to mattress warehouse where they actually back up their products and do a thorough...
Read moreUPDATE: After a really positive experience in store, our mattress was delivered by a third party delivery service the following Saturday. The two delivery men were rushed and harried, knocked a painting off of our wall. The painting fell and cracked our brand new hardwood floors. They scratched up and down the wall going up the stairs, they destroyed spindles on our stairs, and left marks everywhere on our new floors. After immediately taking photos of the damage and reporting it to the "service", we waited for some action or recourse. No one from the store would get back to us, and our claim for the damage we submitted was "denied". How, I really would like to know. We did everything right as customers who had an issue and were left felt completely taken advantage of once the sale was final. I would never buy another mattress from this store or salesperson again. We spent $8,000.00 and basically got ignored after our issues.
We went to Mattress Firm last weekend and Aimee was our Salesperson. She was completely fabulous and walked us through every option, letting us try out the different mattresses, pillows, weighted blankets, what have you. We are very excited for our new Tempur-Pedic to arrive tomorrow, and we are so happy she made the process seamless AND fun. Would recommend her and this store to anyone looking to better their sleeping experience. 10...
