If I am going to spend $48 and change on breakfast for two people. I would hope that my experience would be top notch. That was not the case this morning. I think perhaps the fact it was not super busy on a Saturday morning should have been a sign for me to taper my expectations, but alas after waiting 10 minutes after being seated to finally meet our waitress, which we did not see again the entire time until we requested a check from a busser, we were able to put in our food and drink order. The food came out timely; however, it did not come out great. I think my omelette probably cost like $14-15 since I did the DIY with some extra meat. Its top 3 in worst omelette's I've had (pic included). It was like it was made by someone who never made one before. My SO got the shrimp and grits and it was inedible. The manager was going table to table just not to our table, asking about how things were. I assume he was the manager because he was rocking a gold jacket, wild choice of style. I am truly thankful that we only used a gift card we had received back over Christmas, I think I would be more upset if I had to pay real money for this experience.

May - 2025. Came here with my daughter. She loved the place and had the French press for the 1st time. She facetime her boyfriend while here and told him they need to come back together. Elizabeth was our server and the food was delicious. I had a single pancake and the Tuscany omelet. My daughter had the complete breakfast with French toast and a side of grits. The grits are different. They are not the regular white grits that we are use too. All of the food was great. 2024 - 1st time here. The place is beautiful and very welcoming. I started with the spring green tea. The tea was nice. I'm not sure if they don't have spoons, but i was not offered one. I ordered the Tuscany omelet with potatoes. I asked the waitress if onions could be added, and she said yes. I guess I should have asked for them to be cooked. They just sprinkled raw onions on top. Omelet was OK. I wish it was warmer. Potatoes had good flavor it would have been nice with sauteed onions. My husband had fresh orange juice, and he loved the flavor. He mentioned it several times. His meal was the waffle with bacon, which he also enjoyed.

Stopped in to try the breakfast in person. My wife and I have eaten takeout and delivery but in person is where's it at! The owner was so nice and the staff was extremely welcoming. Top tier service and smiles all around. The food was delicious - try the cinnamon rolls with table-side icing. We both had breakfast skillets and french press coffee and we couldn't have been happier 😃 We will definitely make this a frequent location for breakfast and I'm so happy we decided to stop in! Thank you, TP of Collegeville!

Writing fair and honest reviews is important for any business. It provides valuable feedback, highlights what’s working, and offers an opportunity to improve. That said, my most recent visit to this location was unfortunately a significant letdown.

I first visited this establishment when it opened. I sat at the counter, and overall, the experience was solid. Service was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and while the food was on the expensive side, it was enjoyable. For a chain, it met expectations, and my girlfriend and I looked forward to returning.

However, on a recent visit after the breakfast rush around 11 a.m., the experience was entirely different. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the staff was overwhelmed and disorganized. Several tables remained dirty, the waiting area was crowded, and the team at the front displayed visible frustration and a lack of professionalism.

Though we were eventually seated, and I mentioned we had looked forward to returning, we were met with little acknowledgment. I was told there had been staffing challenges and a recent change in the kitchen team. Unfortunately, that was evident.

Our food took an unusually long time to arrive. When it finally did, it was delivered to the wrong table. Staff walked around trying to identify where meals belonged, and mine was placed in front of another guest before being redirected. The food itself was cold, undercooked, and had remnants of other ingredients on the plate. When I raised a concern, the response was dismissive and lacked any sense of customer service.

Additionally, I noticed unprofessional behavior — including whispering among staff — that further reflected a lack of training and leadership. Most of the staff appeared disengaged and unconcerned with the guest experience.

To her credit, the manager made multiple efforts to check in and was clearly working hard under pressure. She was professional and candid about the challenges they are facing. However, it's evident she is trying to hold things together in an environment that seems fundamentally broken.

Dining out should be a pleasant experience — an opportunity to relax and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, this visit delivered the opposite. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect a basic standard of service, cleanliness, and respect for customers.

Given the poor service, food quality, and overall lack of care, I won’t be returning. The location may bring in traffic, but sustaining success in this competitive area requires consistency, competent staff, and a commitment to treating...

Review for Turning Point of Collegeville, PA

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10)

So, I made the epic trek from Maryland to Collegeville, Pennsylvania, expecting a nice meal and ended up with a 10 out of 10 experience! Seriously, if I could rate it higher, I would. Right from the get-go, GM Mike and his super accommodating staff rolled out the red carpet (figuratively, of course) and made me feel like a VIP.

The restaurant is beautifully designed for an upscale, family-style brunch—perfect for gatherings or just impressing your brunch buddies. Plus, there’s a private room for meetings, which is great if you want to discuss serious things like, “Why did I eat that third pancake?”

Now, as a pesco-vegan, I was thrilled to see some fabulous menu options. I kicked things off with the NJ Devil Blend French Press coffee ☕️—robust, flavorful, and so good I felt like I was drinking a hug. Trust me, I’m picky about my coffee. Usually, I’d reach for some plant-based milk, but this coffee was so good, I didn’t want to mess with perfection.

For my meal, I ordered the Salmon platter, which was so fresh and delicious it practically waved at me. The staff kindly removed the cream cheese (not a fan) and doubled down on the avocados 🥑—a win-win! But wait, there’s more! I couldn’t resist trying the three vegan pancakes. When the plate arrived, I briefly questioned my life choices, but five minutes later, I was licking the plate like it was the last slice of pizza at a party.

And let me just say, the cleanliness of this place is impressive. I peeked into the kitchen, and it was so spotless I was half-expecting a Michelin star to pop out and give me a high five. Even the bathroom smelled amazing—if that’s not a sign of quality, I don’t know what is!

I’m already plotting my return with the whole family. This place is absolutely worth the trip! I’ll also be booking the private room for those serious discussions about when to eat more pancakes. Highly...

A Brunch Lover’s Paradise

If I could give Turning Point more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the moment I stepped inside, I knew this was more than just a place to eat—it was an experience. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and effortlessly chic, making it the perfect spot to savor a slow, indulgent brunch with friends or family.

Now, let’s talk about the food—because WOW. Every single dish is crafted with love and attention to detail, and it shows in every bite. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or just someone who appreciates bold, fresh flavors, the menu is a dream come true. The plant-based options are nothing short of spectacular—creative, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. Their take on classic brunch favorites is innovative yet comforting, proving that healthy and indulgent can coexist in the most mouthwatering way.

The service? Impeccable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, adding an extra layer of warmth to an already exceptional experience.

Rhis isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary gem that sets the bar for what a brunch spot should be. Whether you’re there for a cozy breakfast, a long brunch with friends, or just a fantastic cup of coffee, you’ll walk out already planning your next visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough—this is the place you’ll want to keep coming back to...
