Writing fair and honest reviews is important for any business. It provides valuable feedback, highlights whatâs working, and offers an opportunity to improve. That said, my most recent visit to this location was unfortunately a significant letdown.
I first visited this establishment when it opened. I sat at the counter, and overall, the experience was solid. Service was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and while the food was on the expensive side, it was enjoyable. For a chain, it met expectations, and my girlfriend and I looked forward to returning.
However, on a recent visit after the breakfast rush around 11 a.m., the experience was entirely different. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the staff was overwhelmed and disorganized. Several tables remained dirty, the waiting area was crowded, and the team at the front displayed visible frustration and a lack of professionalism.
Though we were eventually seated, and I mentioned we had looked forward to returning, we were met with little acknowledgment. I was told there had been staffing challenges and a recent change in the kitchen team. Unfortunately, that was evident.
Our food took an unusually long time to arrive. When it finally did, it was delivered to the wrong table. Staff walked around trying to identify where meals belonged, and mine was placed in front of another guest before being redirected. The food itself was cold, undercooked, and had remnants of other ingredients on the plate. When I raised a concern, the response was dismissive and lacked any sense of customer service.
Additionally, I noticed unprofessional behavior â including whispering among staff â that further reflected a lack of training and leadership. Most of the staff appeared disengaged and unconcerned with the guest experience.
To her credit, the manager made multiple efforts to check in and was clearly working hard under pressure. She was professional and candid about the challenges they are facing. However, it's evident she is trying to hold things together in an environment that seems fundamentally broken.
Dining out should be a pleasant experience â an opportunity to relax and enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, this visit delivered the opposite. I donât expect perfection, but I do expect a basic standard of service, cleanliness, and respect for customers.
Given the poor service, food quality, and overall lack of care, I wonât be returning. The location may bring in traffic, but sustaining success in this competitive area requires consistency, competent staff, and a commitment to treating...

âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ (10/10)
So, I made the epic trek from Maryland to Collegeville, Pennsylvania, expecting a nice meal and ended up with a 10 out of 10 experience! Seriously, if I could rate it higher, I would. Right from the get-go, GM Mike and his super accommodating staff rolled out the red carpet (figuratively, of course) and made me feel like a VIP.
The restaurant is beautifully designed for an upscale, family-style brunchâperfect for gatherings or just impressing your brunch buddies. Plus, thereâs a private room for meetings, which is great if you want to discuss serious things like, âWhy did I eat that third pancake?â
Now, as a pesco-vegan, I was thrilled to see some fabulous menu options. I kicked things off with the NJ Devil Blend French Press coffee âď¸ârobust, flavorful, and so good I felt like I was drinking a hug. Trust me, Iâm picky about my coffee. Usually, Iâd reach for some plant-based milk, but this coffee was so good, I didnât want to mess with perfection.
For my meal, I ordered the Salmon platter, which was so fresh and delicious it practically waved at me. The staff kindly removed the cream cheese (not a fan) and doubled down on the avocados đĽâa win-win! But wait, thereâs more! I couldnât resist trying the three vegan pancakes. When the plate arrived, I briefly questioned my life choices, but five minutes later, I was licking the plate like it was the last slice of pizza at a party.
And let me just say, the cleanliness of this place is impressive. I peeked into the kitchen, and it was so spotless I was half-expecting a Michelin star to pop out and give me a high five. Even the bathroom smelled amazingâif thatâs not a sign of quality, I donât know what is!
Iâm already plotting my return with the whole family. This place is absolutely worth the trip! Iâll also be booking the private room for those serious discussions about when to eat more pancakes. Highly...
