Honestly I hate making bad reviews but the manager should be aware of this mix up. I went in yesterday and ordered in person to the lady at the register, who was very kind and put my order in correctly. I will say it’s my fault for not checking the bag before I even left the store. I got home later to find i got the wrong salad after specifically asking for the strawberry poppyseed salad and NO CHICKEN. I got home to see they gave me a Caesar salad with chicken in it. Then I went back to get it fixed and I told the girl it wasn’t her fault because she put it in right. The people in the back clearly can’t read or understand because again I said STRAWBERRY POPPYSEED NO CHICKEN. and they still messed it up and gave me the caprese salad again with chicken. At that point I felt bad to make them feel more stupid and they would have just been annoyed with me. So just for myself and others check your damn food before you leave the parking lot. And make them feel stupid because it was not busy there whatsoever and there’s no reason to mess that up twice in a row. Also I get it I worked at Panera before and fast food I get it. But making a mistake twice is just a lack of common sense and care...
Read moreEven though the food tasted good, I am giving a rating due to extremely unprofessional employees. My husband and I were waiting for our food with our young daughter and had to hear the employees speaking very unprofessionally (including speaking of naked photos of women). While standing there, we also witnessed them hand an incorrect order to a custom, take it back and then still use the item that had already gone to one customers table for another customers order. Lastly, what would have been a minor detail that we easily would have overlooked if otherwise things went well, my husband added spinach onto his sandwich and it was left off. If that was the only thing wrong, we would never come leave a poor review over that but after standing there as they made all the orders and hearing how unprofessional and inappropriate they were it’s worth mentioning. If they were a little less focused on their banter and more focused on their job maybe they wouldn’t have made the same mistake. (They also gave out the wrong side to the customer ahead of us as...
Read moreI don't normally write a review, but in this case feel compelled to do so. I visited the Panera Bread in Collegeville, PA earlier today and ordered the Steak & Arugula sandwich (half sandwich) as take out.
It was terrible and cost over $7. There was a very tough piece of low-grade, sliced steak in this sandwich. It was very stringy and riddled with a lot of gristle. About half of the meat would come out of the sandwich when attempting to eat a small bite, because it was almost impossible to chew on and separate from the rest. The bread crust was even tough to chew through (bread wasn't toasted). This half sandwich was very bland in taste and smaller than what I was expecting (saving $$ on ingredients).
Although the place was clean and counter person was friendly, there's no doubt that the staff in the kitchen was not concerned at all with quality control. I've had decent food from this location in the past, but today was a...
