I want to start by saying we ended up leaving a day early, and they did refund our remaining day. The room was not good. We came here for a break from sleeping on an air mattress while our house was renovated. We left early because the air mattress was better than the bed we had there. The carpet in the room was torn. The bathroom door wouldn't close due to the floor scraping the bottom. The curtains had stains, and there were no extra blankets. This hotel is at the far end of the boardwalk, and options for food are limited. There is no room service, USB plugs for charging, and a tiny TV. There was a kitchenette; however, the coffee supplied was only regular and no tea. The photos in here font look like the hotel. The resort event was the great pumpkin Charlie Brown sent to your tiny TV in your room, or you could buy a craft kit to out together in your room. The light next to the bed flickered when it was touched like it had a short in it. The bed sinks in the center when you lie on it. Getting to the room was a trek, too. Up an elevator across to another building and no view to speak of. The water pressure in the shower was horrible and the light shown through cracks in the four to adjoining room and the main door. It really needs an overhaul. Looking out the window my view was the side of the long deck to get to the rooms with paint peeling on the sides. I was very disappointed the only thing that saved the rating is the manager refunded our remaining stay. This property needs to step up their game if they want to use the with resort.

This resort advertises they have garden tubs in the suites, which is accurate, however the water tank is not big enough to accommodate the tub. They hold "40 gallons" per the intruction sheet, but my son was in 3inchs of water and it never warmed up. If you are staying with kids they will not be able to take a warm or even luke warm bath, you will have to use the shower. If you attempt to give them a bath, you will have to wait 2hrs for hot water to return. This should be verbally said to guests when staying in those rooms. You are given 7 pages of instructions when you check in, they go through and highlight important information, taking a bath should be one of those. No one thinks you will not be able to use the accommodations in the room. Our faucet on the tub leaked water all over the bathroom floor when turned on causing a mess. The entry door to our room, seemed like the door was pryed open from the bottom, leaving a gap to allow the marijuana smell that the group of people next door were smoking, to come in. Housekeeping saw them, did not say anything. The window locks were also broken, allowing anyone from the outside to open the windows and come in. Huge saftey concern. Some of the rooms face the roadway and it super noisy and loud at night, if you are a light sleeper do not plan on getting any sleep. They are doing renovations to the balconies so they are unusable.

I’ll go through each topic of consideration, but before doing that, I want to mention that my partner and I were walked in on while naked by housekeeping unannounced at 8:00AM the morning we were checking out. Then another staff person knocked on our door regarding check-out an hour later.

Check-out time is at 10:00AM and check-in is at 4:00PM, which still seems unreasonable, but alright. Then the incessant text reminders about the check-out time. All of this came off as incredibly unprofessional and pushy. I spoke with Tiffany about these issues who tried to make it right, but not to my personal satisfaction considering the circumstances honestly. I appreciate her efforts despite trying to pawn it off on a confused staff person who thought we left early. It was very strange.

Pool: Nice hot tub and heated pool(s). The hours of it weren’t the best, I very much wanted to go swimming at night because of all of the children playing throughout the day.

Suite: The king 1 bedroom was spacious. Weird limit on hot water consumption, I don’t know if this is an outdated heater thing or what. Fireplaces don’t work unless you call the front desk to “turn it on,” even though there’s a knob right next to it that doesn’t work. The balconies are nice. Bathtub is smaller than it looks. Layout of the room was strange. Kitchen is quite nice as well with updated appliances. Some furniture was slightly broken/damaged.

Parking: Not enough spots to accommodate all guests, but there is an overflow lot. There was especially not enough disabled parking. Only one tiny elevator on the entire property that you have to walk through the whole garage to get to by foot. In need of serious upgrading, both the garage and the accessibility concerns.

Location: Great. Only a block from the beach. Will hear a band play out front pretty frequently, but there is a noise curfew so it wasn’t an issue.

Would’ve given this place 3 stars if not for the above mentioned incident. I can’t say I would recommend staying here in consideration of both the price point and quality of...

The walls here are paper thin. This is a party hotel.||We booked it because we had a gymnastics meet at the convention center.||First night our room filled up with smoke from our guest's next doors bong. Adjoining rooms have no privacy. You can hear everything. Our neighbors had very vulgar language and used racial slurs all evening. I knocked and told them I can hear everything and I also have a small child with me in the next room. When they started fornicating I had to leave my room with my young daughter and sleep in a friends room. With that being said, she had her own problems in her room too. Her neighbor burped on and off the entire time of her stay. Morning, noon, and night. Since the walls are tissue paper thin you could hear every burp. It was just gross.||I called the front desk and told them the situation and they did nothing that night. Basically told me, it is what it is.||The next morning I called the front desk and asked to speak to a manager they apologized and put me in a new room.||My neighbors this time had a party. Loud music, smoking, banging doors, yelling etc. I called the front desk a little after 10 and let them know.||Security came up. Party raged on despite being told it's quiet time. Security came again and let them know they had several complaints and they had to leave. They didn't leave and became very angry, banging on the door and walls and verbally assaulting the security guard. Police were called to evacuate the premises. This went on until til 1am. For 2 nights we had minimal sleep. It was awful. ||Needless to say we will not be returning to Turtle...
