First time in Virginia beach on vacation. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rudee Inlet. We first did the dolphin tour. Easy transaction from start to finish. Booked online, showed up, free parking, easy check in and off we were onto the boat. Great experience, workers all friendly and super helpful. Tour guide was great. We saw lots of dolphins. Two days later we booked jet skis with Rudee. Same thing, easy booking online. Showed up and every single worker was efficient and friendly and super helpful. The process from check in, to signing paperwork and getting life jackets to getting on the jet skis was flawless, effortless and again every worker went above and beyond. We were led out to the ocean in a single line with a rescue boat and at least 3 to 4 guys on jet skis that stayed out there to make sure you were safe. Gave simple instruction on where to stay , what our boundaries were and off we went. They were super friendly, attentive and helpful. My kids were on a double and at one point fell into the water. Within seconds a worker flew over on their jet ski to make sure they were ok and safe. I can't even begin to express how wonderful the experience was and how wonderful and friendly the staff was. We even stayed to eat at Big Sam's restaurant and the staff was spot on and friendly there as well. Highly recommend you use Rudee Inlet for all your water activity needs, you won't be disappointed!! This review is strictly about the individuals who are handling customer service phone calls. The tour guides and staff that assist in getting you on jet skis have always been amazing. For the 4th year in a row, I was attempting to book Jet Skis today. The website was telling me that the card transaction did not go through and Rudee employees were telling me its my banks fault, but my bank (after three separate phone calls back and forth) kept telling me it did go through and was waiting on the merchant to approve. After talking to someone names John, who seemed no older than 18, and then another individual who seemed no older than about 21 about the ins and outs of pending transactions and my banks detailed information, the guy finally said "well why dont you just not book and ride jet skiis with us" This little boy had ZERO understanding of financial transaction details or issues, didnt even understand what I was trying to say and dismissed me. It was completely absurd to dismiss me as a customer because because I am just a number on the hamster wheel of people booking the jet skis. Its unfortunate, but they are not getting my business for the jet skis...

This past weekend was my husband and my 5th wedding anniversary- One of our first dates ever was when we went and rode jet-skis. Riding a jetski on the bay or lake is one thing but riding a jetski in the ocean is a whole other thrill ride. We were on top-of-the-line jet-skis hitting waves and cruising the oceanfront shores. It was really cool being able to see the oceanfront from a different perspective.
