Summary Pros: -Great wings. -Good food in general. Cons: -Customer service is unacceptable to adequate at best. -Restaurant becomes almost completely worthless for ~15 minutes if power goes out for just a quick moment.
Full Review I want to start by saying I love Buffalo Wild Wings' food, but this location specifically was terrible. We have purchased food from this location before. In the past, service has been adequate, but it definitely was never stand-out amazing or anything like that.
On this specific occasion, we went to the restaurant after placing an order online. We just got to the restaurant and walked in when the power went out and immediately came back on. With the way the electronics are set up, the power outage, although brief, shut their network down. Everything was booting up, and we were told we would have to wait for about 15 minutes to pay! We even asked if they could take cash instead, since we could clearly see there are key holes in the registers; we figured a manager could just open the cash drawer and check us out. We were told they didn't have any way to tell how much our total was, and when we showed them the confirmation email with the order total, they said they were still unable to help us at all. There was also another gentleman with his son in a similar situation; he was just paying for the food they ate already. It was 10PM at night, and he just wanted to get his son home. He was willing to leave them his credit card or cash and come back for his belongings later. The staff was not helpful at all, and with my previous customer service experience, I thought it was ridiculous that there was no way whatsoever they could close out checks. The manager offered no resolution or compensation for the extreme inconvenience to any customers involved. I called the Buffalo wild wings corporate office and left my complaint as a voicemail on a Saturday night. I didn't expect a response until at least Monday, especially on Father's day weekend. I received a phone call Sunday afternoon, and the gentleman I spoke with apologized for the experience, said he wanted to use this specific situation as a teaching experience for the restaurant staff, and took my address to send us coupons for future visits. When the coupons came in the mail, they were vouchers which essentially refunded our meal, something the manager should have at least gave us a discount for. I find it ridiculous that, as the customer, I had to go above the restaurant management to resolve the situation. I will still eat Buffalo Wild Wings' food in the future, but I will avoid this restaurant...
Read moreGreat location, very clean inside & out, pleasant & welcoming atmosphere, friendly & attentive staff, great customer service, but VERY sub-par wings.
I can't believe I just paid $16 for 12 wings on their BOGO 50% off Tuesday special & they were so sub-par. It's a first for me that the wings were so not good & I'm shocked to be honest.
I got them super fresh IMMEDIATELY out of the kitchen & started eating them right away, yet somehow they were nowhere near hot, they weren't even warm. How's that possible?
The wings were also much smaller than I've ever had from them & I've been ordering from them for over a year now. Is this a cost cutting sign of inflation?
If so that's really sad. So sad in fact that I'll probably stop eating here from now on. I'm amazed at how poorly they came out.
The only reason I didn't take them back is because I was already hungry & annoyed after realizing how not hot the wings were.
So instead of trying to get a refund or something similar I just told the manager how displeased I was & that I'd write a negative review to voice my displeasure & warn others to think twice before ordering their wings.
To his credit he did offer me a refund even though they had technically closed by this time. But I politely declined it hoping that this negative public review would provide more value to them as motivation to do better, & to their future customers by letting them know how their wings might come out so they'd have the heads up.
Anyway, the only good part of the wings was the sauces so at least they get a passing grade for that.
I've noticed the declining quality of their wings & simultaneously rising prices for a couple of months now, but it's only NOW with THIS order that that combination has officially crossed the line enough for me to complain & write a bad review about it.
Hopefully they get their act together a.s.a.p. & hopefully this review helps others thinking of buying their wings, but I'm not holding my breath for the former so I wish them the...
Read moreVery disappointing! Ordered take out and will never do so again. In fact, I doubt I will ever eat there again. It took 20 minutes for the individual to explain how to place the order. Then the bundles shown online were not listed on the in-house menus. After finally getting the order made for a 40 wings bundle with large fries and celery and carrots on the side (20 wings of one sauce, 10 of another sauce, and 10 of yet another different sauce to have a variety) the outcome was a disaster. After another 20 minute wait for my order, they hand me a bag with nobody there to go over the contents with me. I went to the car and looked inside the bag to ensure the order was correct. I see my large fries were missing. I came back inside to let them know. As they checked the bag, the different boxes containing three different types of sauced wings opened up and it all became a huge mixed sloppy mess inside the bag. There went the variety tasting. I tell them I did not get enough side sauces for 40 wings, especially since I now needed to dip them individually to taste the different flavors since they were now all mixed in the bag. When I asked for more sauces, I was told they normally charge for extras, although, I had never been given what I was supposed to get for 40 wings to begin with. I asked to speak to the manager to no avail. I was eventually given the missing fries and sauces. Then I get home (just a five minute drive) to find cold, unedible, soggy, greasy, hard fries. The 20 in-bone wings were greasy and the skin was very soggy and barely cooked. The 20 boneless wings were small popcorn chicken bits and they tasted terrible. Even the blue cheese sauce to dip the celery and carrots was watery and tasteless, not to mention the super tiny container they give it to you in were two thirds empty and certainly not enough. The entire order ended in the trash can. My hard earned $50 thrown away due to unedible food. No, I do not...
