We had a very nice stay at the hotel and I would have given a 5 star review, but unfortunately our experience ended up being awful. I left several dresses in the closet when we checked out. I know, my bad. I totally own that. But when we contacted the hotel, and they located them and agreed to ship them, the box was missing two of the dresses. One of which had a sweater on the same hanger. The sweater was in the box, the dress wasn't. So after several email and phone calls, it was clear that the cleaning woman or another employee took my dresses. Dresses that I needed to wear for a national TV appearance. I will never stay at that hotel again. Sure, I shouldn't have left anything in my room but that doesn't give the hotel the right to keep some of my belongings. I am appalled at how unconcerned the hotel is about this whole thing. They weren't inexpensive dresses, and the fact that they hotel KNOWS who cleaned the room and some dresses were returned to me tells me that they really don't value their customers. I would think offering me a refund on my room would be a nice gesture, since those two dresses cost WAY more than the price of the room. Any frequent traveler knows that leaving things in their room on occasion happens, especially when you're jetlagged and stressed, so it's pretty important to stay at a hotel where you have confidence that anything left in the room will be returned. I mean we called first thing the next morning to report the...
Read moreI recently stayed here for 10 nights for a business trip. It was an okay experience.
The phone in my room was not connected so I had to go to the front desk whenever I needed anything.
The walls were quite thin - I could often hear phones receiving texts in the neighboring rooms, someone else snoring, and some adult activities.
The mattresses were thick, deep mattresses (maybe 12in thick) but the sheets on them were not for deep mattresses, so they popped off the edges about every time I moved.
The AC in the room couldn’t keep up during the day even if I kept all the lights off and curtains closed. I always came back from work to a room 4 or 5 degrees hotter than it was set. There was also no option to keep the fan set to “always on” which I often do in hotels for white noise. I actually don’t think I had ever been to a hotel before where this was not possible.
There was a sign in my room saying housekeeping was by request only. However, housekeeping cleaned it anyway without a request which I did not like, especially since my room did not have a safe.
However, it is close to a lot of food, gas stations, and highway access. There was always someone at the front desk to help, and they had a little selection of snacks you could buy. It was clean and seemed...
Read moreI initially booked my room on August 13th 2020 through the Hilton Honors Website with the intention of staying for 19 nights. On the summary page I was informed that the Two Queen standard room would be 456 square feet. In reality, much to my own disappointment, I receive a room that was less than 300 square feet. Before my arrival I had applied and had been approved for the Hilton Honors Amex Card, which I had used at checkout with the intention to receive extra points. Again, upon arrival I was informed that I would need the physical card to do so, which would not arrive for another three to five days. Understandably, this was rather frustrating as I then had to use a different card at check in. At this point I simply wanted to go to my assigned room to relax. However this wasn’t possible as the AC was found to not be working, when this was reported I was then moved to a different room where the toilet was leaking.
All in all, I found this experience to be far from enjoyable, and while I trust that this is not the normal way Hilton conducts its business with valued customers, I am rather disappointed with my current experience. I would welcome and appreciate the opportunity to discuss...
