I'd be happy to write a review for Manchurian Indian & Nepalese Cuisine in Sacramento!
Located in the heart of Sacramento, Manchurian Indian & Nepalese Cuisine is a fantastic restaurant that offers a unique fusion of Indian and Nepalese flavors. Owned by Mr. Shambhu Dhakal, who hails from Nepal, this restaurant is a true gem that offers some of the most delicious and authentic dishes in town.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, and the service is outstanding. Our waiter, Anjana Dhakal, was extremely attentive and helpful in recommending some of their popular dishes. Her friendly and hospitable nature made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food! We ordered a few different dishes to try and were blown away by the flavors and presentation of each one. The Manchurian chicken was a real standout - perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. The lamb vindaloo was also a hit - the meat was cooked to perfection and the sauce had just the right amount of heat. We also tried the momos, which are traditional Nepalese dumplings filled with seasoned meat and served with a delicious dipping sauce. They were absolutely delicious!
Overall, our experience at Manchurian Indian & Nepalese Cuisine was fantastic. The food was outstanding, the service was great, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you're in the mood for some amazing Indian and Nepalese cuisine in Sacramento, this is definitely the...
Read moreInitially, I left a rating because I was dissatisfied with the food. In my review, I mentioned that your restaurant seemed overrated, but I did not make any comments to that effect in person. Your response accusing me of being indecent and unwelcome at your restaurant prompted me to elaborate on my review. It is unprofessional and childish for a restaurant owner to make personal attacks in response to a fair critique of the food.
To clarify, I believe your restaurant is overrated. During my one day visit to Sacramento, I chose your restaurant based on its high ratings. I ordered three dishes, and felt two of the three lacked taste and quality. I initially gave this review at the restaurant, and a staff member suggested I change it in exchange for a discount. However, I chose to leave a tip instead because the server was nice.
Your defensive reaction to my review suggests that either you are over complacent or the positive ratings for your restaurant may not be genuine. Additionally, your claims of apologies from other patrons seem to be fabricated to justify your response to negative feedback along with that I stormed from your restaurant because none of these happened. Regardless of your comments, my assessment of the food's quality and taste remains unchanged. Reflecting on your personal remarks and being defensive instead of taking the feedback constructively, I regret having a negative experience during my visit...
Read moreI've been wanting to try puri pani & came here for this reason! Although the puri pani was too salty for me, it was so fun making the hole with my fingers, stuffing it, and putting the tamarind juice in there. I'm still going to give it another try at a different restaurant! I ordered the chicken dosa and it was my first time eating it. It was filling, light, and so flavorful. I liked how the interior colors are black and light wood brown, although the resturant isn't huge it is a good enough size. They have a lot of 2 seaters inside. My friend ordered the chicken vandiloo (probably spelled wrong, sorry). Everything was neat and clean! You can tell the standard for cooking and ingredients is high due to the delicate details they add. The service was good, they didn't check in on us while eating at all but that's ok. Also after eating I learned from others customers that in their culture you eat fennel seeds to help with your breath. I did try that out, they have a little shaker at the front of the cashier and it was good. Key note for firt timers they are actual fennel seeds, and taste really good, but are a kinda strong minty flavor! Plus, don't swallow them hahaa, I was going too. I would love to come back and try more different dishes next time. One thing that stood out to me is how light and delicate everything tasted, and what I mean is it didn't feel heavy after eating and none of the dishes were oily either...
