Budget Inn-Westwood — Hotel in Westwood

If you are stranded in the dead of winter and have to choose betwen sleeping in this motel from hell or sleeping on the sidewalk outside, I would wholeheartedly recommend that you get a sleeping bag and tough it out on the street!!!!||||This was absolutely the worst motel experience of my life. The place is absolutely filthy and if you are staying for more than one night, they do not come in to clean your room. The towels look like used dishcloths. The bedsheets had BLOOD stains on them and it was obvious that they had not been changed in months. The room smelled horrible. We were given a smoking room and it was impossible to breathe. Talk about secondary smoke inhalation! ||||This is the type of institution where truckers bring prostitutes for a couple of hours. I hate to think of what went on in the sheets before I got there.||||The bathroom and carpet was so dirty I was afraid to take my shoes off and was nervous about stepping into the shower. ||||I could go on and on, but I think I have given you enough so that you can consider your self duly forewarned. First, let me say that I'm only giving this place three stars because of the sweet and very kind young lady who works there named Ashley, and all her help while my family is currently going through a very difficult situation of being homeless. So my experience... I rented two rooms for two nights, one a double and the other a single, which I was afraid to walk on the carpet of with bare feet. For cleanliness, I would only give this place one star. Our single room, nasty, stained carpet aside, had a bathroom infested with fruit flies and mold in the shower. There are no real amenities to speak of, shampoo included. And there are no towels unless you ask. And this is where Ashley was a real godsend. She was kind and attentive to all of my children's needs, going above and beyond, day and night. Being an ear to my fiancé and I while we told her of our tales of woo. Over all, wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone unless they were looking to rent by the hour. And even then I would tell them to...
