We worked with Nikia to cater for our small, intimate wedding reception. My husband and I come from different cultures, so we wanted a menu that could reflect marquee dishes from both of our heritages — this is a vision we were worried about executing properly, since it seemed like many caterers specialized in certain types of cuisines. But when we found Noire, we were very impressed with the depth of the pre-built menus they provided, and were even more elated to speak with her and find out that she would be more than willing to do dishes that we specifically asked for! Nikia provided great insights across the curation of our menu, and made it very easy to put together something that reflected both of our identities. We were also very happy with Nikia's ability to work with the our dietary restrictions — from providing halal meat, to working around various allergies and special meals for individuals. We also loved that we were able to work with Noire to rent table linens, china, and glassware — being able to source all of these components from a single vendor relationship was an immense stress reliever while wedding planning.

Our wedding reception took place at a mosque, and Nikia also went out of her way to do a site visit to get a sense of logistics and worked with the mosque coordinator to get a sense of what made the most sense for setup and meal service. She collaborated with our event coordinator to work out various day-of logistics, and was incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire process.

On the day of, we were blown away by the setup and pure aesthetic of the meal service. The quality of the entire setup was amazing, and it truly exceeded all of the expectations we had for our small ceremony/reception. Of course, the food was amazing. We had so many great compliments about all of the dishes and specifically of the exquisite execution of our specific cultural dishes, and we truly felt it was the perfect celebration of our love and the bringing together of our diverse friends and families. Noire Chef of Boston just catered a fun and delicious event at MassArt today, Their Set up was beautiful and the food they served was out of this world delicious! Perfectly seasoned, a plate of love.

Chef Nikia Spotts knows what you need and its her food! Her assistant was as sweet as could be and they served with smiles and affection! If you want a great party that people will talk about the food you served for years to come hire this Chef, you will not be disappointed!

Shrimp and Grits WOW 5 stars Grits perfectly cooked and the shrimp sauce will make you want to lick the plate!

Egg Salad 5 stars Okay so I am picky as many folks are about my egg salad and this is another home run not too sweet not too salty just a deliciously perfect combination of savory um topped with candied bacon COME ON ya killin me sooooo good lol

Greens 5 stars yes please may I have some more!!!!!! so freakin good! These will take you home! There would not be leftovers at my house of these greens!

Baked Mac and Cheese 5 stars You know that person who makes the best Mac and Cheese you ever ate and at every celebration it is a demand that they must bring their Mac and Cheese and if you are not quick enough its gone? Well yah another winner!!!!!

Our experience with Chef Noire Boston was outstanding!

Starting with being an amazing human in general, she was a top-tier professional and executed our collaboration flawlessly but made it so fun to be a part of. When she said "full-service" that was an understatement. She arrived with her team promptly, more than prepared and accommodated the unique and flexible needs of our event as it evolved and that's even before I've even talk about the food-- a grazing table so beautifully presented that no one wanted to even touch it, let alone eat it and then once they did eat it they couldn't stop. We even had guests asking for "bigger plates" so they could enjoy more of her delicious food. The food was so thoughtfully curated and, in every bite, you could tell Chef prepares every dish and element of her menu from a place of love. I mean, the food was so good!

I could go on but I'll simply leave this review with gratitude for Chef Noire Boston, her team and extraordinary talent and a 10/10-- highly recommend. We'll definitely be using Chef again (hopefully soon :))
