Pros: Room was spotlessly clean Room was ready early Communication prior to was amazing and clear Room was spacious Views were great Room Setup was Room had 2 TVs Plenty of Storage places Room was really nicely renovated (no comforters for COVID but you should keep it this way. So clean and refreshing looking) Pull out bed was awesome to have Table and chairs in room with ample space 2 plastic chairs outside room to admire the beautiful ocean view Staff is amazing with customer service (talking disney level) Located not too far from the boardwalk, but in a quiet family friendly area A/C was beautiful

Cons: Internet service was poor and spotty No Full Length or big Mirror in the room (there is 1 in the bathroom and 1 small one in the living area but a big mirror would be great for sunscreen) No safe or place for valuables (not advertised as having one so you can’t dock them for this, just would be a nice touch) Beds were harder than other hotels/places and weren’t the most comfortable

Covid Con: The Hotel required guests to wear face masks while on. the grounds (going to your room or walking through) This is posted on signage, handed to you on a print out, on their website, and emailed to you before your visit. That being said, majority of people did not wear a mask while walking around the hotel. So while they make an excellent and thorough attempt to require and educate the use of masks, the execution and enforcement is lacking. (Not that they could enforce it or do much more than they have, but it should be noted that people aren’t listening, and there’s not much more they can do)

Overall the best wildwood motel we’ve stayed, and will likely become our go to...

My husband and I spent a few days at the Paradise Ocean Resort this September after we got our kids settled back at school. We loved the hotel. It was clean, the office staff was extremely friendly and nice and we loved the deck on the second floor. We stayed in room 202 facing the ocean. The room was clean and we liked it overall except for a few small things which needed attention. The shower curtain rod was rusty and there was a hole in the wall behind the dresser which was covered by a board that was placed in front of it to cover. Overall not a big deal unless you're very picky. It was nice for a few days however there were a few small inconveniences such as no closet...so no place to hang your clothing (except for a bar hung in a small area over the dresser by the bed area. (but the space was too small to hang anything without it hanging more than half way over the dresser. Also, the kitchen area had no counter space to prepare your food or put wet dishes after washing. There were also no end tables by the bed so there was no place to put your stuff that you may need during the night and no place to put your toiletries in the bathroom (no medicine cabinet or shelving at all) It was my fault though because I honestly wanted the ocean front room and I didn't realize it was a studio. Next time I will get one of the rooms on the second floor close to the deck which has a separate bedroom and a little more room. Really nice hotel...overall a nice experience. I would definitely go back and...

We adored our stay in the penthouse of this lovely resort. We wanted a relaxing stay with a nice ocean view and that is exactly what we got. The retro style, beach colors, and fake palm trees are so perfect.

We had the penthouse and loved waking up in the morning and sitting on our private balcony. That and complete lack of noise from other guests, plus an updated and immaculate interior design, are reasons to do the penthouse if you can. It’s also reasonably priced, the beds are comfy, and the full kitchen is a huge bonus (and is gorgeous). We also were able to comfortably have a few friends over for dinner and drinks, with plenty of room. The whole penthouse has amazing views and a cross breeze (as well as good a/c but in late May we didn’t need it).

I usually don’t love sitting on sofas in hotels, even fancy ones, but here I had zero issues. Ditto the carpet and beds. The bathroom is a treat and is so pretty.

The staff are wonderful, the ice cream available (for purchase) at the front desk was fun, and the location is unbeatable.

Even if you don’t do the penthouse, the whole place is so cute, the pool is wonderful, and there’s lots of shared balcony space for everyone (tables and chairs, loungers, and umbrellas). Even grills you can use!

We liked it so much we already booked...

It was extraordinary. It was an exceptional property. It is an older property but it is well maintained. Guests usually have phenomenal views of the Atlantic Ocean. Its employees do their jobs well and their interaction with guests shows a willingness to answer questions and solve problems. Rooms are made up daily, along with daily changes of towels, unless you prefer otherwise. Rates are phenomenal in the off season. Loads of guests who appear to be yearly repeaters sit outside their rooms in the evening making small talk with other guests. The pool was heated in September. Guests have use of outside propane grills. Inside our 650 square foot room we had a small kitchen table with four chairs, a view of the Atlantic with outside chairs to have the same view, a sizeable refrigerator with freezer, a kitchen sink, and a two burner flat top stove, a bathroom with a full size tub with shower and toilet, and a bedroom with two queen size beds. The price was ridiculously low for our two night stay.

We were beyond pleased with our stay at Paradise Oceanfront Resort! It’s hard to find affordable places to stay right on the beach. Our room was immaculate, smelled wonderful, and had been recently redone! Being able to have access to a kitchenette in the room, a grill, a pool, the beach, you name it— was a godsend. One of the biggest things I have to comment on though is the staff. I have never felt more welcome or at more at home than at Paradise. Fred went above and beyond for us, and all of our interactions with the rest of the staff were just as wonderful. We are already talking about how quickly we can get back down there! Thank you so much for giving us a memorable Memorial Day weekend!
