I arrived on Sunday, August 27, 2017 to the condo. On our way down to the condo, (the owner) sent me a text saying the “the air conditioner stopped working last night” She was working on getting a repairman there. Day 2 comes and I text the owner since I heard nothing regarding the air conditioner getting repaired and she hasn’t heard back from the repairman and proceeds to tell me how cold it is at her house and I shouldn’t need the air conditioner on anyway. Now she needs me to take a picture of the front and back of the air conditioner for her. Finally, the owner texts me he will pick up the air conditioner on day three (Tuesday) between 9:30am and 10:00 am. He was suppose to bring the air conditioner back the same day. I told her we would be in the room between 9:30 and and 10:00am for pick up but we had already paid for tickets for an excursion for that day and would not be home until 7:00pm that night. She said we could leave the keys in the lock box for them to return it. We were not comfortable with the repairman just coming in. We have expensive camera equipment that was going to be left behind and there was no lock box to put anything in. Then I get an attitude from the owner that we want if fixed but will not allow the repairman to come in. Never once did she offer to have the Management Company Personnel which was sitting downstairs in the lobby come and stay there while it was delivered. We were expected to lose the money we paid for our excursion to wait there for her repairman to come. I guess there is only one AC Repairman in Wildwood to service all of those hotels.||Meanwhile I went back and forth numerous times with her and she kept arguing it’s not hot out and we don’t need the air conditioning. First off, I don’t care if it was 10 degrees outside. You advertised Air Conditioning so Air Conditioning should be supplied. Secondly, who are you to tell me whether it’s hot or not? It was in the 60’s at night and your condo has 1 window in the bedroom which is against another building so no air comes in and the window in the front of the condo; which by the way, you are not Ocean front so it’s not like you’re getting an Ocean Breeze. It was hot and stuffy in the condo for the 3 of us. Long story short, she never fixed the air conditioner. We had to go to Walmart and put window fans in the bedroom and living room since it was so stuffy for the remainder of the stay. Meanwhile she tells me I’m ridiculous for saying I had to buy fans for the place and accused me of trying to get a refund for no air conditioning.||The owner got more belligerent with her messages to me and the best part is I WAS ON VACATION and had to have a battle each day with her on getting the air conditioner repaired, which I paid for an air conditioned unit. If I didn’t want AC I would not have gotten a place that had it. There was another review on here about her not repairing the water heater. I now understand what the other tenant went thru. Who needs this hassle while on vacation. He had no hot water and I had no Air Conditioning. Obviously this is just a rental property they are looking to make money on and are not worried about the upkeep on it. We have rented plenty of places in the past, none of which we were treated like this. I was late with booking this year and that’s how I got stuck with this rental. I learned my lesson to book early next year.||It’s also so noisy in the morning with garbage trucks picking garbage up from the surrounding hotels it wakes you up. The sleeper couch is so uncomfortable you do not get a decent night’s sleep or maybe that’s because it was so hot inside the condo. The condo is not close enough to the boardwalk to walk so you either have to drive and pay for parking or take the trolley to the boardwalk but its $5.00 a person. You also have to drive to any restaurant for dinner. Nothing is in walking distance. I prefer to be park the car when you get there and be able to walk to the majority of things. This condo you drive everywhere. The only good thing is it is on the beach.||All I can say is between North Wildwood, Wildwood and the Crest, there are tons of places to rent. STAY FAR AWAY FROM...
Read moreThis review is targeted at room 407, some rooms may be better as they are individually owned. Upon arriving to the room at the time provided as “will be ready” we walked into an uncleaned room and were asked to leave our room when the cleaning crew arrived, which we respected and left for them to prep the room for us. We could tell immediately that things were a little off, as the room was not “beach facing” and did not have a “private balcony” as stated. Instead it was facing another building with a beach view if you walked down the shared balcony.||When we were given full access and expecting a clean room we walked into a moldy and damaged room with furniture that must have been there when the building was built. The floors were sinking in, the light fixture was broken and the wall of the bathroom was literally falling apart. Our photos will provide more than enough evidence of a improperly maintained room that I ended up bleaching down and cleaning up for my family to make the best of it. Which is a shame as this location is very nice, you walk right to the beach from the carport.||However, outside of the location and the surprisingly comfortable bed in the master, the room is not worth the price we paid. Considering we got a discount I feel horrible for those who spent 3-4 maybe even 5k for a week in this dump. What makes all of this even worse, is at the end of our week when we alerted the owner of these issues he got defensive and said “you should have said something earlier if you wanted me to do something about it.” We were not looking for a discount, we already got the room at a lower cost, but we wanted to let him know in case he was truly oblivious to the condition it has errored to. Instead we got someone who would clearly let this place disintegrate before actually fixing it.||Please avoid room 407 for your family trip and find another room at this building or another one of the many condos on the beach within...
Read moreUnit 224. Stayed in Sept, 2019, great beach front view for sun rises, great patio right out front door for sitting, but a little confused by conflicting check in process as we were told to pick up parking permit, sign voucher and get unit access key at front office only to find that the office was closed on all days except Friday and Saturday but we were checking in on Tuesday! Spent an hour on the phone trying a variety of numbers to resolve issue. Owner’s voice mail box full and not accepting new messages but was able to receive an email to resolve issue for us by sending us updated check-in process info. Also found 2 used bathroom wash clothes and trash on bath counter upon arrival- not happy since we were asked to pay a cleaning fee but bathroom wasn’t spotless for us when we checked in- maybe just poor cleaning service. Very beachy decor, small kitchen, and had a 2-person dining table. Lighting in single bedroom unit was somewhat dim as no bedroom windows for natural light. Had allot of extras for comfort but really, location right on the beach was the highlight. 2nd Tv in the bedroom was a nice touch. Bring your own linens and bath towels. Access to 3 bikes a nice touch! Building was a typical multiple story concrete structure with balcony walkways but owner took allot of time to give the unit’s decor and extra’s a real beachy feel. 2 pools., but only 1 parking space per unit. A/c unit very high up on living room wall and difficult to reach to change...
