I visited there a few weeks ago as part of a timeshare presentation deal. The hotel is a 3-star hotel. I was in a room that could sleep 5 people comfortably. One room had a king bed with an on-suite. The other room had a queen bed with no on-suite. There’s a pull-out sofa in the living room. There’s also a full bathroom as soon as you walked into the hotel room. All the areas had its own tv. The kitchen area had all the tools to make a meal. There’s a vending machine. A pool was located in the main building. The hotel is centrally located, so you could get to various areas of Williamsburg within 20-25 minutes. If you are a Fresh Market shopper needing to grab snacks, there is a Fresh Market in Williamsburg. If you are a Whole Foods shopper, the grocery store is outside of Williamshurg, heading towards Norfolk, about a 25 minute drive. I attended the farmer’s market that is held on Saturday morning. I enjoyed it! There’s a little of everything. The location of the market is fantastic. It’s convenient to downtown shopping, restaurants, and cafes. Street parking is available but limited to 2-hours. Thankfully I watched my time. When I returned to my car, the “parking police” was out giving tickets. I don’t know if there is a parking garage. I was parked on the street, near a small parking lot that was full. It might be worth it to Uber/Lyft. There is a lot to see, especially on Saturday morning, and you want to take your time. Here are some picks of the farmer’s market.

Nice place to stay, but not as spacious as other Blue Green resorts we have stayed in the past. Rooms feel compact and a bit claustrophobic in the main living area. The pool is area was simple and feels like an economy hotel. It was murky and the monochromatic color of the pool walls and floor made it difficult to judge location under water. I was disappointed in the service a bit when I asked a room cleaner for more supplies for the room and she told me she only had enough for the rooms she was cleaning and didn't have any to share with me then and there. I was able to go to the front desk and ask for some,.and they sent it later,. but I thought it was a strange response to my request. Overall it was ok, but it appears to be the same as other hotels in the area, nothing special.

Not clean - we have stayed at many a Bluegreen resort and this one was by far the worst in terms of lack of cleanliness. We walked into the bathroom and it was obvious the shower had not been cleaned- there was hair in the shower cubby and mold starting in the corners. That should absolutely be unacceptable. There was a layer of dust on the safe and dresser in the bedroom, which I would have completely overlooked if the bathroom had not been so obviously untouched. I definitely recommend Parkside as we have stayed there and it doesn’t have the “hotel” feel that this “resort” has. To management, please do better. These days after Covid, cleanliness and sanitation is more important than ever and I won’t be coming back here.

DON'T WALK, RUN from, BLUEGREEN VACATIONS as they will "MISLEAD; offer FALSE PROMISES; make excuses for POOR ACCOMMODATIONS/fail to provide ADA-COMPLIANT ACCOMMODATIONS & after Signing Contract DISCRIMINATE if, you Refuse to Buy additional Points then, within a few short Months begin charging you astronomical HIDDEN FEE'S!

We became "Owners" with Bluegreen Vacations in Oct. 2023, at the "Patrick Henry Square at Williamsburg" (We did not stay here as, when Booking we were told "We would only be going to Patrick Henry for the Presentation as, with the Vacation purchased at Bass Pro, BG would only Pay for Accommodations at an outside Hotel i.e. Comfort Inn"). We've always made sound investments until, we invested with Bluegreen "Worst financial Decision/Investment ever"! We've quickly learned that Bluegreen had unfairly mislead us with, false promises; we received nothing but, excuses for Poor Accommodations & within less then, 5 Months' time it became a very costly mistake with, mounting Hidden Charges we are being required to pay!

Initially, we were led to believe that this would be a good investment, it would benefit us & Family without becoming a significant burden. We were shown the most Beautiful, Functional Condo; were assured that maintenance fees would not increase/2023 was the first Increase they had in years & we were receiving a GREAT Price on Points with Husband being a Army Veteran. We were also told "as owners we'd always be given preference & be able to Book time before, non-owners"; we'd only need attend initial ownership meeting then, never again if, we choose not to; etc. (I did stop mid-way during the signing of Paperwork when, we were being, read something different & of course they'd brought the Women who'd been telling us all Benefits of ownership back to talk further with us, reassure us, etc. Stupidly believed her & finished Paperwork). ALL LIE'S!

So, after handing over nearly $ 21,000.00 to Buy "Points" & Pay "Fee's, etc." we Booked our first Trip to Mountain Loft in TN then, our 2nd one to Shore Crest Vacation Villas Marsh view, SC (Reviews can be seen on each of these 2 Resorts own Pages) & Accommodations just went from, not so great to absolutely Horrible!

We did Report all these issues to the so-called BG "Managment" at the Owner's Meeting but, we were only given excuses, our Points gone & we were basically told that "Unless we bought even MORE POINTS that, these crappy Accommodations will be all we ever receive as well as, we will NEVER be given preference in...

I drove over 3hrs with my 2 sisters to come to this resort and I was excited because I was actually interested in buying! What I didn't know was that I would have to get my credit checked and based on that they will decide to give you a presentation! So on December 10th (Sunday morning), I spoke with Katherine and she that I would get a $100 gift card and asked for my sister's name as well. I gave it to her! So fast forward to check in on Sunday night when we arrived. I go in because my other sister who is a owner said I needed to sign some papers and I said ok! I go in and they ask the same questions that Katherine asked me on Sunday morning except they asked for my social security number and ID. He states that they cannot process the paperwork and it wasn't a good thing or bad thing but if I do not hear from them then everything will be fine! So my appointment is on December 11th at 9:00am and at 8:30am I get a call saying that they cannot go on with the presentation and I can attend with my other sister whose name I gave to Katherine. Well we get to the center and they have no record of my sister being on there so another lady that works at the center came off like she didn't want to deal with the issue! She tells my sister that she can do the application and have an appointment tomorrow on the 12th but we are leaving tomorrow. Now I'm upset because I feel like we were lied to and apparently there is no communication amongst co-workers! The fact that you tell me I will get a $100 gift card in which I was going to use for my daughters Christmas gifts has me upset and disappointed! Why not tell people over the phone that this is subject to a credit check and do the process so that they don't drive so many miles and get disappointed?! This is bad business and customer service and I have many people that look for my input when going to different places and I will be sure to let them know that this isn't a place to stay and do business with! You should be ashamed of yourselves in handling business this way and having people think they are getting something out of the deal! This is a waste of time and I'm definitely sharing with my friends on Facebook and by word of mouth! I'm...

Upon check-in we were told that the wireless internet and the pool were closed with no idea when either would be operating. After several complaints and continued questions we were finally told that someone had hit a utility pole that had caused a surge and burned out some components of both the pool pumping system and the wireless network. Had this been communicated at check-in rather than after continuous questioning, it would have made things a lot smoother.||This was more of a hotel than a resort, interior doors off a long hallway with a single, hotel sized lobby. Amenities were also the same as you might find in an upscale resort with the exception of maybe the game room. Most of the staff did not interact with those passing through the lobby with the exception of one young lady by the name of Sang.||The room was nice, though the dining table was way too big for the size of the room. 4 person max sleeping in the room, six seat oversized table. It was hard to move around in the kitchen area. I was also a bit disappointed with the list of things that were requested upon checkout.||1. Put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and rub it.||2. Put all the towels in the laundry basket.||3. Strip the bedding and pillow cases and put in the laundry basket.||4. Take all the trash out.||I don't have to do that in a hotel that costs a whole lot less, but a resort wants it done. This isn't a practice across all Bluegreen resorts. I wish they would standardize all of their locations. We stayed in both of their resorts in Williamsburg and policies were different in both.||I generally put the towels in a pile wherever I stay, but I don't ever strip the bedding. I have no issues with dishes in the dishwasher, but I would think that they would want their housekeeping staff to make sure ALL of the dishes were washed and clean, not just the ones I say that I used. If I clean the room before I leave, there sure isn't much for their staff to do. Maybe I'll just stay in a hotel next time. I'll probably choose the other Bluegreen resort over this one if I'm ever in...
