Mayfaire Town Center — Local services in Wilmington

Mayfaire was an excellent location to host the travelling Vietnam Memorial Wall that recently visited Wilmington; Some great pics show the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle escort for the arrival of the special dedicated Wall (replica of the original). Mayfaire erected and displayed our National Colors over the Wall and provided light at night so visitors could come visit 24/7. There was a great turn-out to pay respect for all the VN warriors lost in battle and for this solemn occasion to remember the MIA. Besides events held here, you can make a day of shopping, eating, and take-in a movie or enjoy the sports bar. Get your best burger and fries at Five Guys. Enjoy some sushi, Italian food, juice bar, donuts, favorite sandwiches, or many other choices. Spend hours looking for books, home decor, chic clothing, kids brand clothing, and many brand name stores. Benches are nearby if you need to rest your feet. Pet...

We went to Dave and Busters yesterday 8,31,25 and I was immediately blown away from the entrance. The audio and visual effects from the video games and seeing children and adults having a great time was fantastic. We walked around and played some games and it was alot of fun. It also allowed us reminisce of our younger years playing Galaga, Space Invaders, et... Seeing other generations playing games from decades ago was inspiring and gave a warm feeling of nostalgia. We went to the bar for a couple beers before we left and Priscilla was fantastic she explained to us how to download the app and all the benefits it brings. I don’t like Mayfaire and actually try to avoid going there unless I really need something from a store that’s only located there. There’s never enough close parking. When it’s really hot outside, you have to sweat while carrying your packages, which is annoying. When it’s cold outside like today, you’re freezing and uncomfortable. When it’s raining, you and everything you are carrying gets wet. Any stores that have another location, I would always choose the other location. I get that the idea of outdoor shopping centers appeal to people from big cities, but here in the south, we are used to regular malls. The one positive thing I can find is that most of the stores I like have a location here, so if I do have to go to one at least I can go to them both at the same time.
