Today I observed Todd (General Manager) correcting an issue regarding my order with an employee (Paige) during a busy period. The general manager took my order, placed it in front of the employee after quick discussion with her. The employee seemed upset and puzzled at the same time. I felt sorry for the employee as the general manager to me it looked liked counseling the employee with other customers around. While she was being counseled I had to allow other customers bypass me awkwardly in tight space as the general manager continued to complete other customer’s orders. I almost walked out while my order was held by the manager. He never acknowledged my delay in service. In addition, I thought how his actions will negatively impact any potential young employee staying at this location. They should have been counseled later away from customers. Improve training sessions. I have managed many staff in healthcare where people’s lives are at stake but this should have been handled differently. Happy employees yields happy customers. I just lost my appetite. This was one of my favorite...
Read moreHoly scrumdidlyumptious! This was delicious and I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner. So many options.. pre-made bowls and pitas or go rogue and build your own.
It's a Mediterranean version of chipotle in the way you build your bowls or pita, but far superior in flavor.
You start with a greens or grains or both as a base, add a meat or veggie (lamb meatballs, Greek chicken, sweet potato), then add dips (tzatziki, hummus, etc), then add toppings (roasted corn, olives, cucumber, feta, tomatoes/onions), and then top with sauce (garlic, Greek, Caesar tahini). I've only named a few so check out their full menu.
Loved every bite.
This is something I could eat regularly and not get tired of it.
Great music and service, too! As well as indoor and outdoor seating.
Fresh drink options that include cucumber mint lemonade or teas or soda.
If you are a Greek or Mediterranean food fan, chances are you'll love it. My tastebuds are singing and I'm planning...
Read moreFantastic place to experience vicious counter service passive aggression! I love watching the non-verbal angry body language. No ice in the machine? Just kindly mention it and watch the fireworks! No paper towels in the bathroom - oh buddy, watch them slam things and kick stuff while they work! Must be an absolutely terrible work environment, because this place is a social experiment in action. So much passive aggression at play...Great food, just be prepared for the show if you get a stale pita. Some people may get nervous around such theatrics, this place is not for the thin-skinned - for us hardened by the real world, it's lunch and a free show! Kudos to management, because this type of environment takes hard work and dedication to achieve. Make no mistake, this takes ruthless carelessness and stubborn ignorance for leaders to acquire. Bravo to the dedicated...
