I was there last night to see Avatar The Way of The Water Win IMAX 3D which was an awesome movie I highly recommend it. This is a very nice very clean theater. The wait to buy tickets is usually short or you can buy tickets online in advance. This theater offers seat selection when you buy your ticket so you can pick your favorite seat if its available or see what is and pick the best available for you. If. You buy in advance you are almost guaranteed your favorite seat. The concession lines move fast so they is usually a short wait there. They have 16 screens here and play select screenings and some special event you can find the special screenings and events in the app or on their website. Signup for regal crown program to get a discount on concessions and earn points for free concessions and movie tickets. The Regal unlimited Pass is $18.99 plus tax at this location. If you go to the movies more than once a month it pays for itself. The one downfall is that the Unlimited Pass is for 2d movies only, however you can purchase 3D, IMAX or IMAX 3D tickets for a reasonable up hare or surcharge. The seats for most of the theaters at this location, the 2D screens are very comfortable. The rows are far enough apart to give plenty of room to walk. The seats feature electric reclining seats you push a button the seat reclines and the leg rest folds out giving you a relaxing movie viewing experience. With the extra spacing between rows people are able to get by even with your seat reclined and the leg rest out. I am not 100 per cent sure but I think the Screens showing 3D movies have the same features. The seats in the IMAX and IMAX screens do not offet the recline feature and the rows are closer together with less leg room. However IMAX does draw a larger crowd and I know that there is 1 IMAX screen here not sure if there are more IMAX screens at this location, their could be another IMAX screen. I love the fact that this location sells alcohol at their concession stand. The price is a little bit high, but that is to be expected at a movie theater concession stand. During the summer they have a concert on a select day in the court yard in front of the theater so you can enjoy a concert in the evening before or after a movie. Their is plenty of parking a lot of different restaurants and shops within walking distance from the theater. The staff here are friendly courteous and knowledgable. I have been going to this theater for year's and only had 1 issuer it was resolved very quickly and I was very satisfied with the resolution. I took my mother to see a movie for her birthday. After the movie the lights did not come on bright enough and my mother fell while walking down the steps. She didn't get hurt but a staff member saw it. Within a few minutes a manger was there making sure she was ok. Offering to call and ambulance or even drive her to the hospital if she wanted to go. They took a quick report and handed me 4 passes to any movie or event with no restriction, they could even be used on movies or events that stated no pass. I was very satisfied with how quick, considering she didn't even get hurt and I wasn't even going to...
Read moreIt’s 1:30 in the morning, and that customer service was so maddening I’m writing this because I couldn’t sleep.
I went in with two friends to see a movie late at night in a relatively empty theater. We’re all 19 and 20 however you must show ID proof that you are above 17 to get in to a rated R movie. which being a long time movie goer I understand. 2 of the 3 of us had our IDs to show we were well over 17, unfortunately one of my friends had lost his license a week before and was getting his new one mailed, so he didn’t have a physical copy. However he did have a picture of it and other forms of physical photo ID. When explaining this to the ticket taker woman, she said in the rudest possible way that it wasn’t her problem, and that if we were so upset we could “speak to guest services because I’m not getting fired over your problem.” Without a smile wrinkle to be seen near her mouth for the whole interaction.
Frustrated we went to speak to the manager, who we hoped and assumed would be more understanding a willing to help us work with this problem. After explaining the same thing to him very calmly hoping that he could help us, he said in a rude and unapologetic way that there was nothing he could do.
We understood that it was unfortunate but the rules were rules. We now asked if there was anything else showing that we could see instead, as we were already here. In what was the single worst customer service interaction I have ever had, this manager then proceeded to say “well maybe but if I catch any of you trying to sneak into a different movie I’m gonna kick you all out.” Not for a second did this misery filled man even think about trying to help us find another movie, after we were trying very hard to remain calm and preserve our night. At this point we decided to leave after Unfortunately dealing with these people.
We understood why the rules were there, and it was an unfortunate scenario from the start, but how this employee and MANAGER OF THE WHOLE THEATER acted toward 3 customers in a tough spot is simply...
Read moreMy wife and I purchased tickets for Avengers End Game back on the 2nd of April for the April 27th 10:30am Showing. Upon arriving to the Theater at 10:15am, my wife and I see a line of at least 30 people at the guest services kiosk. We asked the couple in front of us what the line was for? The couple in front told us, that this line was to exchange tickets that where accidently purchased for the sensory sensitivity showing. As we stood in line waiting to talk to guest services, at least another 25 to 30 people got in line behind us. After getting close to the counter around 10:45am, I could over hear the counter attendant telling customers that the theater was full and they would have to choose a different time and pay an up charge for the standard film. All of these people had purchased tickets pre sale just like me and my wife. The counter attendant mentioned that the selection for the 10:30am showing was supposed to be advertised, but was not .If my wife and I where the only ones that this happened to, I would believe it was an honest mistake. However over 50 people got told they made the same mistake and now have to pay more money for showings and seat selections they had already choosen over 3 weeks prior.
After getting a refund for our purchase and speaking with the manager (Corey), where he stated that the showing was advertised originally as Sensory Sensitivity, it is clear to me that this theater lacks integrity and the basic understanding of what costumer service truly means. This obvious mistake on Regal Cinema 16, part will cost them financially...
