Hampton Inn, Wilson, NC. You’ve outdone yourself! I stayed for 16 days in your lovely establishment, July 1-16. My husband will be there until around the first part of August. You had very nice and knowledgeable staff, at your front desk. Your maintenance crew was so kind and friendly. They kept up on all my pool needs. The cleaning crew was amazing at making sure we had all of our regular toiletries on a regular basis, as well as clean sheets and comforters at the end of a long day. But you absolutely have a real Gem of a kitchen staff lady!! Susan, Susan, Susan, you are the most amazing kitchen/breakfast host we’ve ever encountered! Every morning we were greeted by her warm demeanor. We had a large variety of breakfast options. Breakfast was always on time and in a clean facility. Susan was great at keeping up with guests and the food service. It was such a comfort to see her every morning and enjoy a good conversation now and then. Susan, we can’t thank you enough for making our stay feel like home! If we ever need a place to stay in Wilson, I know we won’t hesitate to be guests at your kitchen! Ma’am, you definitely deserve a raise! I also need to point out, that I’m an advent tea drinker, and couldn’t help but be more happy, that the water was always hot and the various teas were always plenty. Hampton inn, thank you. All the way from Ogden, Utah. Thank you! You’ve got lifelong...
Read moreI travel weekly for work and this is literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. First, the rooms stink and are filthy. Dust is everywhere. Hair in the bathroom. The room literally smelled of mildew and sewage and the air felt moist. It was disgusting. I went back downstairs and requested a new room. The desk agent was polite and helpful and moved me to a new room on a different floor. The new room still had a faint smell of sewage in the bathroom, but the room did not smell as bad as the first. This new room was also not properly cleaned as there was also dust and hair throughout this one. I wanted badly to switch hotels, but was only staying for a couple of days and didn’t want the headache that came with switching. Also, the hotel is LOUD. The walls are so thin, you hear everything. I hear the person in the room next to me talking on the phone, blowing his nose, coughing up mucus in the bathroom in the mornings, etc. I also hear everything going on in the hallways, such as the elevator ringing when it arrives to the floor and also every door slamming. Mind you, I am 4 rooms down from the elevator and still hear it. Now the person above me is banging stuff around and sounds like they are just dropping things all over the floor. I will never stay at this property again. It’s so bad, Hilton should have been paying me...
Read morePOOR. Considering charge back for my stay vs refund plus want loyalty points. Reason: I was disturb in my sleep several times with the cleaning service, even though there was a door sign "Do not disturb". The cleaning service knock very loud on the door several times at intervals, then 1 hour later several phone calls came from the desk, again waking me up while sleeping. I work for the hospital in the Emergency Department and check into Hampton Hotel at 6:30 am on Monday May 29th and left the same day at 1:30 PM. I was suppose to sleep from 6:30 AM until 1 PM, check out at 1:30 PM = 7 hours stay during the morning, however, the front desk had no clue. She told it would be consider a 2 day stay (for 7 hours of sleeping) because I checked out after 11 AM. If I check out at 11 am I would only stay there for 4.5 hours, how could that be a 2 day stay? She was inconsiderate, did not accommodate my needs, did not check the computer to inform I was checking out late at 1:30 PM with a short morning stay, did not follow-up after my concerns, did not inform that manager after my complaint, did not add extra rewards for my disturb sleep, did not provide me with 100% Hampton Guarantee nor was I satisfied. In fact I was completely unsatisfied and want my...
