I’ve been to this Wawa several times, mostly grabbing their coffee, but my latest visit convinced me to switch it up for a snack. From the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed—thanks to the warm greetings from the store associates.
This time I decided to try a quesadilla. While looking at the order screen, I noticed “Marcella” and asked if it was too early for lunch. She took the time to explain the difference between the chicken option, which was incredibly kind and informative. Then Josh came around the counter to help me finalize my decision, offering thoughtful recommendations and guidance.
In today’s environment, many places want you to simply hand over your money and move on. But Marcella and Josh went above and beyond, delivering outstanding customer service that made this Wawa stand out. Their attentiveness and care make this location my top choice for a quick snack—better than any competitor down the street.

Read moreI stopped here on my way to SC because I had been to several Wawa's up North and was so glad we finally got one in Wilson. The store here is definitely laid out differently than the ones up North but looked great! Clean, orderly, and the employees I interacted with were very professional and willing to help. My only complaint is that I ordered avocado toast with bacon and much to my surprise when I was already back on the road I ended up with a cold bagel with avocado and bacon. Not good. Any avocado toast I have ordered anywhere always comes warm because the bread is toasted. Not sure why the error but I definitely wasn't going to get back off the highway to go back and get it corrected. I will visit again just because I love Wawa's but that really wasn't a good first impression for the food at this...
Read moreI have come to this location several times since it has opened because of the speedy service and professionalism of the staff. But I am leaving today disappointed because I waited at least 20 minutes for my wrap and while standing there waiting, my wrap was placed on the counter and no one called out the number. If I had not been in the "just let me walk up and look mode" I would probably still be standing there waiting for my food. Courtesy goes a long way. Please use it when you have customers that you see have been waiting patiently. My suggestion would be to put up a computerized board that shows your order is ready or microphones for your employees to use to clearly call out the order numbers.
