Our party of six visited the restaurant for Mother’s Day breakfast. Fortunately the wait to be seated wasn’t bad at all, however everything else was absolutely horrible! We placed our orders relatively quick and when the food finally came out everyone at the table had an issue, but only two were reported to the server. Everyone agreed that the ham and the bacon were extremely salty compared to what it normally is, but since it’s possible it was the brand not the restaurant- no one complained we just left it on the plate and ate the sausage. One person never got her order even though it was only one egg and the hashbrown casserole. This Mother sat and watched others eat and nibbled off her husband’s plate. My order was not good I had to send back my pancakes and overcooked eggs. Cooked so hard I picked the whole slab up with my fork in one piece to return them. The remake was supposed to be rushed however I wasn’t at all … the server came out twice promising the person who didn’t get food and my remake was on the way out and once she even said the Manager said it’s Mother’s Day - they know we busy whenever we get it ready serve it with a smile!! The absolute nerve of him! Never once showing his face to our table to offer an apology and he should have brought it out with a smile!! Eventually our tickets were brought out and to our surprise my pancakes and eggs and the missing order finally showed up!! Of course they didn’t charge us since it took 2 hours to get it!! But at this point our Mother’s Day breakfast was ruined and we did not eat together! My ticket had to be done 3 times because my to go plates were not available either although on the menu and I was told they are cold and prepackaged…. Then I was charged for something that I never received nor did I order… Our table watched other tables get their food and received what appeared to be decent service - while we sat having to ask for refills.. and pretty much everything we needed… We did see another man who was very unsatisfied with his experience and although I don’t know the details I do know management did absolutely nothing to rectify ruining Mother’s Day breakfast for anyone!! I will NOT be back to that Cracker Barrel ever again! The store obviously needs new management with more experience with customers and the cooks obviously need...
Read moreWell came in with my wife to have a nice sit down dinner which we don’t do often. Upon walking in around 4:30-5 we stood in a line with one person in front of us at the time. The two ladies at the front where not talking to any of us and kept looking the other way. And walking away multiple times. When one of them did decide to come back she said she’s not sure what’s going on she’s confused on the tablet and everything has been rearranged and no one told them. They don’t have many open tables. We where lead to a table abut 15 mins after standing in line. We walked into a dining room with about 5-6 families in the whole dining room. We where seated for 26 minutes with no one coming to get our order greet us or get drinks. We ordered out food and drinks all at the same time… we waited 46 minutes in a restaurant that was not busy at all for our food. Tables that where sat after us had food and been done and leaving before we got our drinks. We had no drinks for over 20 minutes, I got up to get our drinks. We finally got drinks and bread. We had no silverware, I had to get up and get that as well. We waited and waited with empty glasses. Our waitress came out with one onion on a plate. And stated she thought we had gotten our food already. She walks to the back and 5-6 mins later comes with our food. My wife’s was undercooked and cold and did not get her whole meal. And when we told the waitress that something was missing she didn’t even seem to care. And never brought it back to the table, or offer to take it off the bill. Mine was over cooked and hard, to the point I couldn’t eat it. She didn’t ask if we needed refills until our barley eaten food was stacked on the table as we where finished. When she came and walked past us and said “well I guess you are done and done need a refill” aww sorry. I am not impressed at all. Service has gone way way way down hill. I do not recommend going...
Read moreWhats happened to Cracker Barrel’s good home cookin and hospitality?? Well it’s not at this location to be sure. Rude manager, cold food. Amazing server, he gets the star! The rest of the staff were also friendly. The kitchen can’t get food out in a timely manner nor hot either. So plan for extra wait time! We waited for our order when other guests who’d been seated and ordered after us got their food before us. When our order arrived it was cold save one egg and 1 order of tater tots. We asked to speak with manager who came out with an attitude, with no introduction no smile she abruptly asked “You need to talk to somebody?” We told her we’d been waiting a very long time for our food and that it had arrived cold. We told her what a wonderful friendly server we had but that our food was just cold and we’d like to leave since we didn’t have more time to wait for food. She suggested we pay for the food-that we only took a small bite of before finding out it was cold. We said we’d pay for our drinks which is all we consumed, but we didn’t eat else to pay for. She rolled her eyes and said “Then just go!” This “manager” is not manager material-if she continues to handle customers with legit food issues in this manner she will loose loyal Cracker Barrel customers for this location! Train her or replace her! Such a disappointment! It could have been smoothed over with a smile and attention to details Cracker Barrel is famous for! A good trained manager would never have sent out hot food and made sure the food was delivered in a timely fashion as most of their customers are travelers looking for quick good hot friendly service...
