Chapel of Crystals - Las Vegas — Attraction in Winchester

I got married here on Saturday. The wedding was beautiful, and was so emotional and i was so happy. Everyone was very nice to me and it’s a cute place to get married. If you’re looking for a small wedding, i recommend this place.

However, i did want to say that if you’re looking at wanting to clarify your invoices, be ready to fight on the phone with someone. When going through the list of services they provide, i selected the $150 all access photos. Unaware that they don’t charge for that online, but rather it is just you selecting what you are interested in, i thought when i paid that it was also including this in the price. So when i got to the chapel, they asked me to pay $150. I told her i already paid and she said she didn’t see i did, so i just paid it. I also paid for a fresh bouquet, which they called me earlier that day to day that they didn’t get the order for flowers in time, so i would be refunded.

Thinking about the payments i made, i called to confirm all of the invoice information, to confirm what i had paid for. SURLY SOMEONE CAN UNDERSTAND someone’s confusion, or concern if they don’t understand the invoice, especially if the website doesn’t even say anything about this. She assumed i was accusing her of stealing my money, and i wasnt. Wanting to confirm my payments is my right if i GIVE my money to your establishment. After being very argumentative with me over the phone i asked for her to email me invoices which she did, and i am grateful.

I then explained WHY i felt the need to call- because the website DOES NOT specify anywhere that they will be calling you after, to confirm what you selected was what you wanted, and THEN charge you for those extra items you selected. It still didn’t make ANY sense to me, because at no time after i set up my appointment did i ever get a call from anyone confirming if i wanted my selected items, or not. Just that they were not able to get my bouquet in time. I told her that i wanted to suggest having the site say something in regards to this, specifying that the add-ons are not apart of the payment at that time. She was Beautiful when she married us and was so sweet but when i called it was completely different.

I also wanted to clarify the bouquet, because as i mentioned, someone called me only about this saying they weren't able to get them, which is fine, but i asked if i would be refunded, to which they said yes. So by THAT, wouldnt you think that if there is SOMETHING to refund, you would ASSUME that your money has been taken? After she clarified things to me, she said that maybe the new person was the person i talked to, who didn’t know that you don’t pay for the items via the website, and thought i had already paid, so in that case, said i would be refunded. Which is fine, i get being new to a job and giving misinformation, no big deal.

Overall, the wedding was beautiful, but don’t count on the people being courteous to you after they have your money. I was going to Including pictures of the site so that I’m not called a-liar for the fact that there is no information about them calling you to confirm the extra items, but this review isn’t giving me the option. Go to the website and you will see there is no explanation. If you’re going to be defensive of people asking questions, and simply wanting to understand the charges that occurred, maybe ask someone else to answer the phone and be level headed. This is an absolutely gorgeous wedding chapel in Las Vegas. It’s located in the Westgate hotel. Parking is free if you’re not staying there. The 2 girls at the desk are very sweet and helpful. We chose the package of vow renewal with Elvis. Elvis did an awesome and amazing job!! He was dressed extremely well with an expensive outfit with nice jewelry and shoes. He definitely did not look like a cheap Elvis at all!! He smelled nice too!! Elvis lead the entire ceremony and we repeated after him for vows. He made it fun and entertaining. He sang 2 songs to us and danced very well. It was like a live 1:1 right in front of us! Elvis did an outstanding job! His voice is very nice as well as his dance moves. His entire ceremony was very classy. His beautiful wife attended with him and was very nice to talk with. The chapel is quaint with beautifully decorated. Extremely clean and classy. Elvis exceeded our expectations with his entire performance. My husband and I were overwhelmed with his excellent job! After the ceremony we were given a $10 gambling voucher as well as a $10 match your money voucher at the tables plus a coupon for the Cats meow in the Freemont experience which gave you free entrance and a bottle of wine. The only downfall I can say is the Polaroid picture. Its very dark and grainy so I recommend to purchase the photo package. Our wedding at Chapel of the Crystals went above and beyond our expectations. I had read numerous reviews before and after finally choosing our venue and our experience was definitely 5 stars. From the minute we arrived, we felt welcome. The officiator/photographer ( I feel horrible I cannot remember her name) was amazing. She walked us through everything and was kind and pleasant. She even went so far as to call us after we left to let us know we forgot our leftovers (which we would have truly missed). Elvis was AMAZING! I’m not sure who got “an Elvis who didn’t want to be there” because our Elvis ROCKED! The entire ceremony was filled with music, joy, laughter, and dancing. He spent time speaking to my husband and I before the ceremony to learn about us, which made the ceremony even better (and funnier!!). We could not have asked for a better experience. If you are going to get married in Vegas, do your homework! It seems those complaining came in with bad attitudes and did not read the “fine print.” Each venue has charges, many can be a surprise if you do not do your research. Having done this, I knew exactly what to expect and each and every fee and charge. We had our Elvis fee and tips ready in cash (this is how people make a living, be KIND!).
