Horrible experience. The manager at Mattress Warehouse on Pleasant Valley road was yelling and said I was lying and stated that from the troubles I had with the purchase from Mattress Warehouse, I was just trying to get something for free. This was in front of other customers as the employee yelled while I was walking out the door. Well, I decided to get an entire refund and drove to Leesburg, VA and bought the same items to get away from this store (And paid a few dollars more) by the way. I will never walk in this store again. The main issue was I purchased the items from the Kernstown store and I was picking up from the Winchester store last Friday. The items did not arrive as promised, and there was a new employee at Kernstown that promised to remove the cost of the foundation as he received approval from the manager at the Winchester store. When I arrived to the Winchester store to confirm the removal of the cost for the foundation, the manager stated he never authorized it. At this point, the manager at Mattress Warehouse of Winchester said he could refund my entire purchase, refund (and do not receive) the foundation, or just wait until Saturday and let Mattress Warehouse at Kernstown deal with it the next day. The manager at Winchester at Mattress Warehouse indicated multiple times I was not his customer and I should be dealing with Kernstown. None of those options were reasonable as we were promised the items on Friday and confirmed with Kernstown Mattress Warehouse this on Wednesday last week. After finding the same items available in Leesburg, VA, I went back into the store and the manager at Winchester Mattress Warehouse refused to refund my purchase. I said I thought that was one of my options, and he went on and said I was just trying to get something for free and that I misunderstood him authorizing the credit of the foundation and I would need to go to the Kernstown store to get the refund. He could not do it at this store. I found later this to not be true. Just to reiteriate , I will never walk in this store every again. I cannot see why anyone would ever purchase from here. There are too many other options and his irritate behavior towards myself and in front of other customers is completely...

Never went into a mattress store to buy a mattress as i was always skeptical and thought it was a big rip-off or something and was expecting used car lot vibes and a pushy salesman. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Talked with Travis, who has 13+ years experience and is very knowledgeable. He showed us around and gave us info on various mattresses as we did not know what we wanted and just wanted to browse, (again we never stepped foot in a mattress store). He was not pushy or even remotely fake but rather very down to earth and chill, which was very relieving. We ended up leaving without purchasing anything, and he was not trying to keep us around with sales pitches, etc. I ended up coming back and purchasing a mattress from him which was quick and painless. Such a wonderful experience and now I have a new outlook on these stores...at least this location, for sure! Thanks Travis!!

I went in well aware I was going to be spending a few thousand, which I am okay with when it comes to something I use every night and needs to be good quality. I've always bought from Costco or the like and always felt like I was settling because of price rather than spending more on something of better quality that will last a long time. I think a lot of people get sticker shock when seeing mattress prices but honestly it's better to invest more into something like this that gets used as much as a mattress. Terrible sleep can affect you in so many different and negative ways and I was tired...

My last mattress buying experience was awful so I put off replacing my uncomfortable, old mattress as long as possible. I went into Mattress Warehouse to check out my options and was immediately greeted by John Quinoes who took the time to listen to my concerns and show me various models. He was knowledgeable and friendly and put me at ease. I didn't buy on that first visit and never felt pressured to do so. After checking out another mattress store in town that felt like a sleazy used car dealership, I returned to Mattress Warehouse and John greeted me like an old friend! I made a purchase and for the next 3 months I stopped into the store again a handful of times to let them know I was not totally certain I had made the right purchase. Never did I get pushback. After trying the mattress out for 4 months, I decided to make an exchange. I felt guilty and was expecting pushback, but once again, I worked with John and he made the exchange process simple. You can order a bed in a box, drag it into your house and set it up alone, and hope you don't decide later to exchange, or you can go into Mattress Warehouse Winchester and get white glove service from a knowledgeable store manager.
