Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Worth Township

👋🏻 Hey fellow Google Maps users! ☺️ I went to the Ross at the Crestwood location on 6/09/24 from around 9:30 am - 11:00 am.

👚👟 Items: They had a decent selection of items. I was specifically looking for more workout clothes since I’m a sub Group Fitness Instructor at the XSport not too far from the Ross. I ended up successfully finding some new workout pieces to add to my wardrobe.

😎 Atmosphere: I thought the atmosphere was okay. I did find it rather strange that they had no music playing. I was literally shopping without music for like about an hour to an hour and a half lol. 😂 They didn’t play misic until around 10:30 am or closer to the time I left the store. At other Ross locations and other retail stores, they usually play music, so I just thought it was strange that they didn’t play music right away.

⭐️ Customer Service: I thought customer service was great. The line wasn’t too, but there was only one person at the cashier register at the time. I ended up doing a return before doing my purchases. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware of this. I attempted in returning a cologne that was in a tin container and cashier/sales associate let me know that unfortunately I can’t return cologne since it wasn’t sealed.

🛍️ Overall, I had a good first experience with my visit at this location. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area.

I always buy a specific cologne from this Ross because it is a good price.. when they have it. Over the past two months I visited this Ross four times, only to walk in, see if it was in stock, and walk back out. I just called Ross and asked if someone could please go check if it was in. I explained that it wasn't because i was too lazy to come in myself, that I had been there four times just to look only for that item. She said okay, she would check, and put me on hold for about 10 minutes. She then picked up and said, "how can I help you? I said ," I was waiting for her to check to see.." Her: "Oh yeah, there's no one that can check.. it's just me and another cashier and we have a long line" Well thanks so much for telling me you're looking and let me sit on the phone forever.. you could at least asked for my number and said I'll call you back when I can.. it's not like I didn't explain the reason why I was asking for this favor instead of coming in myself. Such good customer...

I wouldn't given it one star but the huge man by the door checking receipts understood where I was coming from.

There was one register open and a security guard standing less than 20ft away checking receipts. I can't believe we live in a country that allows companies that mark products up to sell to us; we sometimes make or even deliver them to make them rich and to be sold to us. We're customers at their store that we've furnished, and they have under paid employees that are asking for receipts after you've stood in line patiently for 10mins, stepped to a register, pull out cash or cashed to pay with a million cameras watching everybody's every move especially the under paid employees there over 7hrs that are not in too hot shape from not getting a decent wage to make it in these over inflated times.
