I stayed 6 weeks. Here’s what I learnt: The staff are amazing. So lovely and very genuine. Always helpful. I lost my headphones, they found them. I couldn’t get the running machine to work, they came to my rescue. They surprised us with a birthday cake. Always immaculately cleaned room. Receptionists, security, porters, waitresses, cleaners, all 5*s. The room was great. I would have preferred a sofa to a bath tub… because there was only one chair at the desk. Another chair would be good. Great smart TV Sunset from the pool is amazing, and great view in the day too Great gym, small but it cools quickly I liked the breakfast, always changed the food on offer. Not sure why westerners complain so much about non-western breakfasts… that’s half the point of travelling Location was great, easy trip to the beach. The hotel doesn’t do food after breakfast but the Mi Quang restaurant underneath was great. Lots of great cafes and restaurants around. (Working at Lighthouse was a fave) All the amenities, but no iron. Ironing is banned in the room—The only place we’ve stayed without an iron! Inconvenient because there are lots of places to do laundry, but we walked around with creases for weeks. 🤣 We had a few guests next door who were very loud at night. The room is not soundproofed… also the food vendors with loudspeakers comes in the windows but i got used to that.
Tips for guests: Keep all food in fridge because of the ants Take noise cancelling headphones / earplugs for the following reasons:
Tips for hotelier: Add a sign saying no phone speakers. If you can have a sign saying no durian, you can do this too. People’s thoughtlessness destroys the ambience. Add more variety to the music, some instrumental playlists, some Vietnamese playlists, different genres… even having 5 different playlists in rotation would make a big difference. No drawers for clothes to be put away. Minimalist design is nice, but I had to stack my clothes...
Read moreThe Legend Boutique Hotel in Da Nang is, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was clear that this establishment sets a new standard for boutique luxury, blending modern sophistication with genuinely warm hospitality. I wholeheartedly believe this is the most "worth it" hotel I've ever chosen. Exceptional Service and Warm Welcome A special commendation must go to the reception team. They were not only incredibly competent in handling check-in and all subsequent inquiries, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming. Their efficiency and amiable nature created an immediate, positive impression that set the tone for the entire stay. Luxurious and Inviting Spaces The hotel's lobby is a masterpiece of design—truly luxurious and comfortable. It offers a stylish and serene space to relax, making every return to the hotel feel like an entrance to an exclusive retreat. The design aesthetic here is simply stunning. Modern, Immaculate Guest Rooms My room was nothing short of perfect. It was very modern, minimalist, and yet still felt quite spacious. The cleanliness was impeccable—it felt brand new. What truly elevated the experience was the evident focus on high-quality materials throughout the room. This was most notable in the bathroom: the faucet and shower fixtures were clearly premium, top-of-the-line fittings that not only looked beautiful but functioned flawlessly. This blend of modern design, generous space, pristine cleanliness, and superior quality materials makes the Legend Boutique Hotel an absolutely sensational choice. It is a true gem in Da Nang, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is one of the best...
Read moreThe room was modern, clean, NO mold issues or smell, water pressure was very good. The front desk and young men assisting them were excellent. The lobby is very sterile and not as welcoming as it could be. There is a very nice lady named Va serving breakfast almost every morning that is excellent and the kitchen does a great job in cooking up different fresh meal every single day. The location could be better becausethe street food near the hotel is not that great and there is constant noise. We wanted to change rooms towards the back because of the noise issue but had paid for a lower type of room with Agoda. It took lots of messy conversations to make the change and the hotel should have done a better job in working with me on the change and the price. This is part of the reason why they are receiving a lower rating because this is Customer Service 101 and does not cost them much to work with me to provide a better experience. The hotel needs to engage in a win win scenario and play the long game w/ guests to provide the best...
