One of the staff employees of the hotel recommended this place to us, since it is close, and we were looking for a place with seafood since we were in Da Nang.
The restaurant is kind of big, and there was plenty of space, which I thought was weird, as this place has a really good rating.
We had deep fried squid, shrimps in garlic sauce, and oysters in cheese sauce.
I’d say the shrimps were the best, but because they were drained in garlic sauce, it was not ideal to eat them with bare hands. Therefore, an employee gave us plastic gloves, which was great.
The squid was fine, but not great. The outer layer kind of overtook the flavor, so I can not really judge whether this was a good squid.
Lastly, I had oysters drained in their cheese sauce. This was the first time I had oysters. I believe they were not bad. I am not really into oysters, so I guess this will never be my favourite food.
Overall, not bad. If you are really into seafood, perhaps this could be a place for you. I honestly can not judge whether it is trully fresh, so you can not take my...
Read moreWe went consecutively to this place for dinner as it has one of the best reviews and the place accepts credit card at no additional charge. The staff who could speak a little English did their best to serve us. We were fortunate that 1 sharp service staff / supervisor who took Mandarin in her university days noticed that I speak to my wife in Mandarin approach us and we are able to communicate in basic Mandarin.
We ordered Lobster (Grilled and Steamed) on both days, scallops and the shrimp porridge. The shrimp porridge is very delicious in my opinion. I didn't get to try the jelly fish salad due to a ordering miscommunication.
Though I mentioned earlier that communication is a mutual challenge (We use Google Translate to communicate), their service touches my heart. They help us to de-shell not only the lobsters and also the prawn.
Restaurant has both low and normal tables. Though I do not have a problem sitting at a low table, I suggest folks who has weak knees to request for...
Read moreLocated in the main strip across the beach. Was deciding on which seafood restaurant considering the vast amount of choices available. Decided on this one as it seemed to be more popular amongst the locals and was priced slightly more reasonable than the other touristy catered places.
Went inside to have a look at the seafood options. A server who spoke enough English provided clear enough instructions in reference to minimums and cooking options. She provided an upfront cost breakdown so there were no surprises at the end.
Food came promptly and our server (a very attentive, friendly lady) helped with peeling the shrimps and cutting up the lobster to make it easier to consume.
We had snails, shrimp, scallops, lobster and fried rice with a few beers. Pricing came out to about 1.7mill.
Overall it satisfied my seafood cravings and I’m happy that I came to a more local spot....
