I just happened to see a negatrive review from a woman who was staying at the MonaLisa, I'm not one to write reviews but couldn't resist after seeing this review. I'm coming up on 5 months now staying here. The front of the house staff, Quynh and Tan are the most professional, kind and helpful of people, always smiling and willing to help with any questions or needs you may have and their English is excellent. I happened to mention it to a couple also staying here about that negative review and they were shocked too, they told me a story about walking around looking for an apartment a few months ago and met Quynh who showed them an apartment that night and spent an hour with them going over the area with them. I have to mention that we feel so much at home here, the owners who live here as well built a fabulous hotel, some apartments being smaller and facing the back of the building and the price on the rent of these reflecting that. There's a variety of different types of apartments to suit people needs, 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom and studios. Obviously rooms are shown before you decide to rent, most importantly which I've seen online is that what most people look for when renting an apartment is no mold, not noisy and 24hr good security, MonaLisa has it all and the staff are ready to help with anything you may need. In my opinion if she didn't like the accommodation she was shown she should not have chosen to rent it and she could have looked at other apartments if that was not to her liking. Last, but not least, I have to mention how well maintained it is not only with the front of the house staff but with the 24 hour security at the garage, also the cleaning staff are so polite and always smiling, there's a rooftop swimming pool, sauna room and steam room which are all excellently maintained. Thanks to all in the MonaLisa for going that extra yard. ...
Read moreThe apartment we stayed at was very dark and quite cold. They've partly updated the decor, but the place still requires maintenance. For example, there's mold on the bathroom sink counter.
There's no safety box, the doors are not sound proof at all and the hotel staff starts yelling in the hallway around 9 making it impossible to sleep, there's barely any cutlery in the kitchen, and they only give two small towels. They don't even give more than one key card.
The apartment was not clean; there's spider web and dust, and the walls were so dirty it appeared as if there was even blood on the wall.
The internet connection is quite slow which makes remote working difficult.
The pros are that the bed is comfy, the apartment is spacious, there's plenty of space to store your items, and the kitchen is quite big and equipped with an induction stove. You can also do laundry in your own apartment but you need to buy the laundry detergent. There are some nice places to eat nearby and the...
Read moreWe have lived in the biggest 2 bedroom apartment for almost 2 years. I must say that our stay in Danang had been the most comfortable and safe because of this apartment. I especially want to commend the staff of the apartment from the front desk: Quynh, Bin, Tienn; Housekeeping and Security Team, not to mention Leo who had made all arrangements flawless for us from the beginning. We get once a week cleaning that is very thorough. It is a bonus that the rooms are sound proof knowing that an thuong area could have a lot of construction, another plus is the electric generator that powers the electrical usage inside the apartment during power cut off. They have swimming pool, lounging area, steam and sauna at the rooftop too. Overall really okay, as the apartment itself is in close proximity to f&b, stores and the beach! ||||If we are to return to Danang, I will still choose to stay here! Highly recommended and missing everyone in...
