I stayed here three nights. I initially wanted to give them two stars, but their manager really wanted to resolve the issue and make sure we had a good experience. You have to tell the manager though! He is only there during the day. The rooms were spacious and the view was nice, but the food could use improvement to prevent food born illness. They need to cook and wash all their food fully since foreigners can get sick easily. Here is my experience.

Our first day experience was not a very good one. We arrived at 11 am so we knew our rooms would not be ready when we checked in, i gave my local number so they would text me when the room was ready. We waited in the lobby and rooftop bar. We got some delicious carbonara.

It was 2:10 pm and i still did not get a text message so i went downstairs only to find out that her room had already been ready for the past 30 minutes, but they couldn’t find us. I asked if they had texted me and they apologized for they had forgotten because they got very busy. When we got to the room, our blanket covered did not seem clean and there was a dirty spot and pen mark on it. The front desk was very quick to resolve it and they replaced the blanket. We went the gym, which was spacious and had air conditioning. It was just a little dirty and outdated.

Later afternoon, we got a nice plate of welcome fruit.

For dinner, we decided to order room service. I should have known better than to order the beef burger or western food but since the carbonara was good this morning, I thought I would give their beef burger a try. The burger arrived, and it was huge and looked delicious but after several bites, I noticed that the meat was raw The burger was not cooked all the way through. They also had ham in it. This was not listed on the menu. I am pregnant and am careful not to eat any deli meats or raw meats. I was anxious and worried about getting sick from the raw meat all night. I called the front desk and they immediately tried to resolve the issue. However, I did not trust there burger anymore and so I opted for a carbonara like I had in the morning. This time the carbonara had onions and was missing the mushrooms. The menu specifically stated that the ingredients in the carbonara were cream, mushrooms, bacon, Parmesan this time the carbonara that I got did not have any mushrooms or Parmesan, but instead it had a lot of onions. It was terrible and onions make me feel sick. Needless to say, i could not eat that either. I did not want to return the food again and upset kitchen staff, but I felt like their evening chef did not know how to cook a burger or make carbonara correctly. It was very disappointing.

The bed is also on the firm side.

Positive side, the guest relations officer was very helpful in getting us our tickets, planning our days, and even getting us a discount! They had good, fast wifi, and good interior amenties. All that makes up for the negative...

Our recent stay at Haian Hotel in Vietnam was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of that is thanks to the incredible guest relations supervisor, Subeo. From the moment we arrived, Subeo went above and beyond to ensure our family had a comfortable and memorable experience.

Traveling with a toddler recovering from the flu after a long journey from California is no small feat, but Subeo made sure every detail was taken care of to ease our concerns. She arranged for non-slip bath mats, a humidifier a delightful fruit plate, and even coordinated an airport shuttle to make our transition seamless. Her thoughtfulness didn’t stop there—she checked in on us daily, offering tailored recommendations and support to ensure we made the most of our trip. Her kindness and attentiveness truly set the tone for an unforgettable stay.

We were fortunate to arrive just in time for the Thanksgiving celebrations and the hotel’s magical Christmas tree lighting ceremony The festive atmosphere was incredible, and the staff ensured we felt part of the joyous holiday spirit, even though we were far from home. It was a beautiful and memorable touch that added to the warmth of our experience.

The Haian Hotel itself is a gem. Situated in a prime location, it offers the perfect blend of excitement and relaxation, with vibrant nightlife just steps away and the beach conveniently located across the street. For our large family of six, the three-bedroom penthouse was a dream come true—spacious, luxurious, and the only one of its kind on the beach strip. It allowed us to stay together comfortably while enjoying breathtaking views and premium amenities.

The breakfast buffet was another highlight—delicious, diverse, and incredibly convenient, especially for families. The hotel's location also made it easy to explore the best of the region, with access to Hoi An, the stunning Linh Ung Pagoda, and the enchanting Ba Na Hills just a short trip away.

What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. Subeo's dedication, empathy, and professionalism made our stay not just enjoyable but genuinely special. She is a shining example of world-class hospitality, and her efforts ensured that we felt cared for at every turn.

If you’re planning a trip to Vietnam, Haian Hotel is the perfect place to stay. Between its prime location, luxurious accommodations, festive celebrations, and remarkable staff, it’s an experience that will exceed your expectations. Thank you, Subeo, for making our visit unforgettable! We’ll...

Stay here because the STAFF is MADE of NICE.

What makes this a good hotel to stay is the ATTENTION from the STAFF.

SERVICE ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ A bunch of ☆'s!!

Although there were some slight mishaps I had a very good experience here and I would stay here again. What makes this a good hotel to stay is the ATTENTION from the STAFF. They were curtious and nice and involved in making sure my stay was as good as they could make it.

I had booked for two nights but had to check out due to it being fully booked. However, on the day I was to check out my sleep was disturbed by hammering from the room above. One would think if one is in the business of providing sleep for people one would Not hammer before 12 at least. However, I called the reception desk and they took care of it after a few minutes. When I went to check out I was offered to stay longer and sleep a little more, which I did. Because of this I knew that if I had issues of any sort the staff would do thier best to take care of the situation. So I returned for this reason.

Upon my return I made arrangements with their help to stay for a whole week in the same room. Although there were other minor inconveniences mostly noise related since the alarms were being tested, each time the staff came up with something to make it up to me, including my finding a fruit basket in my room when I returned, it was such a nice surprise!!

Another nice perk of staying here is complimentary afternoon tea between 2 & 4 PM. There's a choice of tea or coffee and a small assortment of fruits and baked goodies. Such a nice treat!

Also, the pool is in the rooftop and the hotel is located directly across the street from the beach so it's a very nice view.

Vevienze, Meagan, Subeo, (I'm sorry!! I know I'm misspelling your name) and Hana were all very helpful with any queries I had. They went as far as spending the necessary time with me to make sure I got a discount with the Grab app including doing the math, calling laundry places since the place of business didn't speak English and even the young man in the hallway was all to happy (and quick) to hand the towel I had requested. These people will make you feel special and welcome. You won't regret it.

Personally, I thought the room could use some minor improvements such as better quality pillows and real black out curtains. Regardless, I would stay here again.

Meagan, Subeo, Vivienze, Hana, and All the great staff, thank you so much for being so kind and so nice to me. You're all truly special and I wish you...

Location: 5/5 It was a beach front hotel. The My Khe beach was right in front of the hotel, just cross the street then you are in a beautiful beach. Many local restaurants, coffee shops, and stores around the hotel. All was walking distance. Staff: 5/5 Lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. They always greeted me upon seeing me. They were very attentive. Checked in and out process was fast. They also offered a free one way airport transfer for me. The driver was very on time. You can also get a beach towel with staff at the lobby too. Restaurant staff were also very nice. They refilled food constantly and took away dirty dishes promptly. Housekeeping did a good job on daily cleaning. Breakfast: 5/5 Plenty of Asian and Westerner dishes. They also had hot station for noodle and eggs. There was a special banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) that opened 3 days a week only, starting 7:30am. Breakfast was very crowded between 7-8 am. Room 4.5/5 My room was an ocean view king bed. The room had lots of light. Although my room was facing the main street but I did not hear much noise once the window was closed. The bed was comfortable and AC worked well. However, I could not give the room 5/5 due to a bad design. To take a shower, you have to stay inside the tube and nothing was covered around the tub so the water splashed all over the floor and the vanity counter top after each shower. It was very dangerous to get out of the tub, especially if you are an elderly or having a bad knees. They did provide a rubber mat but I used it for inside the tub. Upon checking out, a young male staff did ask for my stay feedback. I did mention a shower issue even I know he could not do anything since this is a bag design at the beginning. He apologized politely. If you stay here, I recommend a room that has a stand up shower, not a tub. There was also an afternoon tea from 2-4pm with cakes and fresh fruits. Someday, there was a pianist playing during tea time but it was a little difficult to find a place to sit due to the way they arrange the furniture. Sometime, you have to share a table with other guests. Overall, it was a nice stay. I would stay at this hotel again if I visit Da Nang but definitely in a different room. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were two couples from India travelling on a vacation to Vietnam. We booked two Ocean facing suites in the HAIAN BEACH HOTEL AND SPA. The booking was done based on location being on the beach front and being indian vegetarians we saw that the hotel was not far from Indian Restaurants. The room was good. A bit smaller than i had expected. It faced the ocean...but the windows i felt could have been bigger. The room otherwise was good. Please note that they give most amenities but no moisturiser in the room. Also two small bottled water is given. One can ask more filtered water. We had an early morning flight and had to check in at 7 AM. So we booked an early check in option which also comes with breakfast..at 50% of the daily room rent charges. The hotel location is really good. The beach is just opposite the hotel, across the road and having a beach facing room could see the sea and be there when i wanted. The beachfront opposite the hotel is lively and especially at night there are parties. FOOD : Indians and more specifically vegetarian indians have a food problem. The first day breakfast had hardly any options other than breads and fruits. I wonder India, being a south asian country of 1.40 billion plus people and having a very large number of vegetarian could find more attention for their food preferences. Hotels have Chinese, Thai, Continental, Japanese, and Indonesian / Malaysian options but no Indian options which couldbe worth considering. Hotels need to be sensitive to Indian sensitivities based on religious and customs wherein even oils and dressings have to be fully vegetarian. On request however the hotel went overboard. They have vegan pizzas and veggie sandwiches and yogurt which they very kindly made available..for the next two days and even packed package for Airport. MS Subeo - Guest Relation Officer of HAIAN Beach Hotel & Spa was very considerate and went out of the way to ensure we felt good. She was available for any assistance that could be needed..
