Pansy Hotel — Hotel in Da Lat City

Hotel Pansy was near the market and main shops and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy but not set up for 3 people initially but the receptionist soon rectified this. We were not aware the hotel was over a shop and the owner of the shop also acted as receptionist. The only way to our room was through the shop which was modern and clean but if we wanted to come in late then we had to phone a number for caretaker to open up for us. Fortunately we were all tucked up by 11pm so no issues. The hotel did organise an amazing easy rider for us (Tin Tin) who is English and French speaking and him and two friends Win and Sow took us on a trip of a life time from Da Lat to Nha Trang which was no mean feat for 3 middle aged women on the back of bikes. i will never forget the butterfly farm, floating villages, Lak and local people we met and this was the highlight of our trip and i would definitely recommend Tin Tin as a safe and interesting...

Wir waren hier 2 Nächte, um Da Lat und die Umgebung zu erkunden.||Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt und ist fußläufig zum Nachtmarkt. Gut ist, dass man direkt Roller im Hotel mieten kann. Die Roller sind nur leider nicht mehr die Neusten, unserer hatte keine funktionierende Geschwindigkeitsanzeige und Kilometeranzeige. Ging trotzdem, gibt eh wenig Schilder mit Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzugen.||Achtung bei der Buchung: die Vermieten die Zimmer mit Doppelbett alle OHNE Fenster!!! Diese liegen alle innen. Wer also Fenster möchte muss auf 2 Betten ausweichen. Ich hatte das Zimmer über Booking gebucht, mit Doppelbett. Da stand aber nix, dass es kein Fenster gibt. Auf der Buchungsbestätigung war jedoch ein Bild mit 2 Betten und Fenster. ||Sie wollte dann für das Fensterzimmer mehr Geld, was wir definitiv nicht einsahen und nach langem hin und her haben wir auch das Zimmer mit Fenster zum günstigeren Preis (26$ statt 35$) bekommen. Also bei der Buchung aufpassen. ||Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung. Es ist alles recht modern und wirkt großteils gepflegt. Blöd ist, da sich das Hotel in einem Geschäft befindet, dass man sich quasi an die Öffnungszeiten halten muss. (6-23Uhr, sonst musst du irgendwo anrufen, um rein zu kommen) Richtig super sauber war es nicht aber auch nicht super schlimm. Die Fenster sind nicht dicht und OHNE Ohropax schläft es sich so gut wie gar nicht. Es ist einfach mega viel Verkehr in der City. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der 5 Etage und konnten trotzdem den kompletten Verkehr hören. (Straße vor und hinter dem Hotel) Die Betten sind bequem aber es gibt keine Klimaanlage, wenn es richtig heiß ist, wird das sicher recht warm mit der großen Fensterfront. ||Die Mitarbeiter sprechen wenig bis gar kein Englisch, was es schon erschwert. (Deshalb haben wir auch die Sauberkeit nicht reklamiert, verstehen sie leider nicht) Sie waren aber freundlich.||Beim aus-checken bat sie mich auf jeden Fall eine gute Bewertung bei Booking zu hinterlegen, was ich befremdlich fand. Ich finde Bewertungen sollten möglichst sachlich und objektiv sein. Das versuche ich mit meiner an der Stelle zu tun.||Ich würde mich nicht noch einmal für das Hotel entscheiden, weil es mir einfach zu laut war. Preis-Leistung ist nicht schlecht aber auch nicht...

Finding this place was confusing because it looks like/ is a storefront, and the clerk doubles as the hotel receptionist. However check in was very easy and the employees were pleasant. I was very happy with our room; it was clean, had a nice view (we were on the second floor), the bed was comfortable, and big fuzzy slippers were included! I was also pleased to find that unlike many bathrooms in Vietnam, the shower had a door that kept water from getting all over the bathroom floor.
