Phuong Hanh II Dalat Hotel — Hotel in Da Lat City

This hotel/hostel was amazing! We booked this hotel in the off season in September of 2015 and got MUCH more than $10 USD for two people a night could ask for. Huge room with two double beds, a gorgeous balcony view of the city, Average and comfortable bathroom setup with actual hot water despite what other reviews say. We had the luxury of spreading things out and being very very close to all the central attractions of DeLat. We didn't book any tours through the hotel but did rent a motorbike for $5USD a day and had our choice of many motorbikes and helmets. |Aside from the accommodations, the staff was what made this stay so wonderful. They were always so cheerful to greet us any time we arrived or walked down in the morning and loved hearing about our day's activities and even recommended us other ideas even though we didn't book tours through them. They were always ready to go out of the way to help us with our terrible Vietnamese and provide us with anything we needed whether it was gas for the motorbike or advice on where to eat or travel to. |This hotel doesn't deserve the moderate rating it currently has as I write this (3star). Stayed here for 2 nights. Good location, very nice friendly staff and very comfy beds (especially for Vietnam). |Room at the back on 2nd floor was nice and quiet and shower was decent.|There is a PC to use downstairs. |Probably a bit expensive for what you get; no breakfast, no housekeeping, no free toiletries, no minibar and no aircon (we did have a fan which was sufficient) which most hotels of similar price have offered us, but still a very pleasant stay. |Bakery just up the road is a good breakfast option and you can hire Scooters for $6 which I highly recommend for seeing the area. |A nice comfortable hotel -...

Our bus from Mui ne stopped here and we decided to take a look at a room. Thinking we could find a cheaper place we had a look around and returned back here. We were told the room was ready key is in the door( the room we already looked at) they must have anticipated our return. |This is one of the better places I have stayed in with a fridge, tv, hot water, balcony and even a thick duvet on the bed. Dalat is a bit colder than other parts of Vietnam. ||Overall it was really comfortable, it did not offer food but you could hire a bike from them and arrange excursions.
