LushStay - CN Yet Kieu — Hotel in Hà Nội

One of our worst homestays in Hanoi! It's important to understand that this homestay has a few builings around the train station and few of them are recently bought from other businesses that has been closed (in our case we stayed in ex-dental clinic, you can see the toxic waste bin in the toilet and some fire masks) And now the "fun part": We arrived around 16:00 (agreed with the owner) When we arrived the room was in total mess (see the attached photos that has been taken AFTER WE REQUESTED FROM THE MANAGER TO CALL THE CLEANING PERSONAL) - after the cleaner arrived it took her for more than 1 hour to change the bed sheets and to wash the floor (she did it with a dirty mop that has been left in the staircase in a bin with grey water) During the stay the owner contacted us via booking asking if we're interested in late check-out (additional pay) but after reminding him that our check-in was delayed because of the room state he "suddenly" switched his mind and reminded that we MUST LEAVE according to the check-out time (no late check-out were offered at this time already) because "You must leave before 12:00 so the cleaner could prepare the room for other guests that supposed to arrive at 14:00 already" The only bright spot in this situation was Fresh, the girl manager that tried to help with the situation (she started to clean the room by herself until the cleaning lad arrived and she apologized for the inconvenience multiple times) TLDR: VERY DIRTY! Bad experience: the fire alarm went on many times during the night. I contacted the manager who asked me to follow a procedure to switch it off, but it happened many times from 2 am to 6 am. And again at 11am. I asked for a refund as I could not sleep during the night. But the manager ignored my messages.

The room is pretty big. There were small ants on kitchen, bathroom and even on the bed, on our skin at night.

There was no staff to check-in and check-out. Instructions are sent by WhatsApp and they ask for the photo of your passport.

Good location close to the railway station.

Leaving luggage costs 50k. Additional taxes were added even though the costs was shown as including tax...

très mauvaise expérience pour notre part. Nous sommes arrivés à 13h pour déposer nos sacs. Le check-in était à partir de 14h. Il y avait dans notre chambre 2 femmes qui vivait là, avec leur friteuse, curseur à riz. Nous avons discuter avec elle, elles nous ont confirmer être les femmes de ménages et qu’elles allaient nettoyer. Nous sommes reposes à 14h voir la chambre. Vous pouvez juger par vous même les photos. Poils et tache dans les draps, nous ne sommes même pas sur qu’ils ont été changer. Salle de douche avec des cheveux, du sable au sol, les placards dégueulasse. Nous avons du faire une réclamation. Heureusement le gérant a distance était compréhensif et nous avons pu échanger. La gérante sur place était plus dur, nous avons demander un geste car la chambre était sale, les draps non propre, des fourmis dans la chambre, et il manquait une couette dans le lit qui a été remplacer par un sur-matelas. Mauvaise expérience pour nous. L’emplacement est proche de la rue du train et à 25min à pied du vieux quartiers.

Message de réponse : vous nous avez demandé d’annuler la réservation sur Booking pour application la réduction que vous nous offrez en dédommagement. Car Booking vous prend 20% de frais et vous nous avez offert 15%. Même avec cela, vous avez gagné 5%. Nous sommes dans un autre hôtel au Vietnam pour le même prix et la chambre est propre, il n’y a pas de fourmis dans la chambre, et le petit déjeuner et servie. Sur booking vous n’aviez pas indiquer les horaires du petit-déjeuner. Nous avons discuter avec vous pour l’annuler tout simplement.

Very bad experience for us. We arrived at 1 p.m. to drop off our bags. Check-in was from 2 p.m. There were 2 women living there in our room, with their fryer, rice slider. We spoke with them, they confirmed that they were the housekeepers and that they were going to clean. We rested at 2 p.m. to see the room. You can judge for yourself from the photos. Hairs and stains in the sheets, we are not even sure if they were changed. Shower room with hair, sand on the floor, disgusting cupboards. We had to file a complaint. Fortunately, the remote manager was understanding and we were able to communicate.
