Thang Long Espana Hanoi Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

Rooms were modern and clean. My only complaint about the room I was in was that it was hard to sit up on the bed and lean against the headboard without the bed moving forward. The AC took a bit of time, but was very comfortable once in use.

Dining area was neat and had a decent selection with the food being very well made. Special note to the omelette for being cooked perfectly and the coffee for being very balanced and flavorful and the bread for being good flavor and texture.

The service was amazing. I got sick on my first night, and had to change my plans. There was some back and forth, but they were very accommodating. While I was sick one of the staff, Cô Tuyết, even made me some porridge and pork floss out of the kindness of her heart and refused payment for that. I hope that the hotel does everything they can to keep her happy and healthy.

The hotel is very close to many stores and restaurants within very short walking distance. You can get around the city very easily as the hotel also helped us get a taxi

Something I don't really understand is the stair situation, as you need to take the stairs to get to the elevator, which might be difficult for some

The room is old but size is bigger than many other hotel, also reasonable for the price on agoda . Btw I can’t book it on agoda for some reason so I just try to walk-in and book, the price is much more expensive so much (950k vnd) , I requested whether can give me agoda price (550k vnd) ,the mid age man staff don’t want to give me the agoda its ok so I try book it online . After he see me like this he suddenly change his mind to give me more discount price (750k) but still expensive than agoda . I just offer him I pay 600k no breakfast is it ok , he deal it . After that when I get the room it’s an single bed room (I had deal with him it’s double bed just exactly like agoda offer). I had waited another 15 min in the room to wait for change to double bed room. The double room as in photo , the bed look like queen bed but actually it’s 2 single bed combined. Well too many problem combined so I just give a low rating for this hotel. Overall other bellboy and staff are ok , only the mid age men who handle reception, his attitude is terrible , if he can’t give me price like agoda just don’t give it to me , I actually don’t mind at all . I’m so glad I found this hotel during my trip to Hanoi last January! Originally, we were booked at another hotel for five nights, but due to the unclean room conditions, we decided to look for a better option. ||As my friend and I walked around the area, we came across Thang Long Espana Hotel and spoke with An, who was at the reception. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, and since she spoke good English, communication was smooth. She even allowed us to check the room before making a decision and kindly offered us a special rate. ||Her colleague, Huyen, was also wonderful—she gave us great recommendations for restaurants and must-visit places in Hanoi. Throughout our stay, our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and amenities provided. Our package also included a delicious and filling breakfast for two, which was a great way to start each day. ||Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I truly appreciate the warm hospitality of An, Huyen, and the rest of the Thang Long Espana Hotel team!
