I arrived at Minasi Premium Hotel a little weary from the journey, and to my surprise, the staff practically sprinted out the doors to greet me with wide smiles. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at a family reunion—minus the awkward questions about when I’m getting married. Their warm welcome was instantly refreshing.
The hospitality was top-notch. Joyce (aka) Chuc Nguyen, at the check-in desk, handled my booking with the efficiency of someone who could probably run an airport if she wanted to. While the paperwork disappeared, a glass of chilled pineapple tea magically appeared in my hand. Now, don’t be fooled—it looks like ordinary iced tea, but one sip and you’ll wonder why it isn’t sold by the bucket.
After check-in, hotel staff personally walked me to my room carrying all my luggages and shared a few clever tips and tricks to make my stay extra comfortable. Think of it as a quick masterclass in how to get the most out of your hotel room.
Later that evening, I asked Joyce where I should head for dinner. With the enthusiasm of a local tour guide, she recommended several fantastic spots, clearly determined to make sure I didn’t accidentally end up eating instant noodles from a convenience store.
The next morning, I had an early bus to catch. Breakfast usually starts at 6:30, but Joyce arranged an early breakfast for me and even had it packed so I could be on my way by 6:45. That, my friends, is what I call five-star service. Joyce (affectionately nicknamed “Chuc”) truly went above and beyond.
Without a doubt, I’ll be...
Read moreThis hotel is a great place to stay, highly recommend it! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, from the receptionists to the breakfast staff. They always were kind, passionate and went the extra mile to make sure a great experience. The room on the 9th floor had a nice view and rooms seems recently renovated. It’s clean and comfortable (However, presumably the noise isolation may not be that good, if close to the restaurant floor due to the movement of chairs). The breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of warm options, including traditional Vietnamese Pho, breads, fruits, and salad. The location of the hotel is convenient. It’s not in the old quarter, but it’s still within walking distance of many attractions. You can walk to Old Qaurter/Hoan Kiem Lake in about 20 minutes, where you’ll find a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants (and night markets on Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The prices in the area close to hotel are also lower than in the old quarter that sometimes is tourist-focused; such as Che Xoan Quan. Likewise West Lake (Ho Truc Bach), is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel which can be good for a stroll or a relaxing day of cafes, such as...
