At first the place impressed me with the nice atmospheric interior and multistoriness, meaning i expected to find a comfy spot to have my meal further from people without having to sit back to back as locals tend to. But the staff aggressively told me off and told me to sit in the back of the place where it was too full to calmly eat.
After i payed 90k for the all-you-can eat buffet and started adding food to my plates a very unpleasant elderly lady from the staff aggressively told me I can't take some "especially" set aside foods if I don't pay extra. All in vietnamese, wich she seemingly expected me to understand right away as a foreigner.
The variety of the food to my taste is ok, not too imperssive, but filled my tanks. As to the taste: i did like the sauces and salads. Only too fruit options. There is a phó too, which I really liked. They put kinza in springrolld, a very smelly green, i personally dislike.
I personally didn't see cockroches, fortunately, but some people in the comments here mentioned, which i believe they did. The toilet is nasty though!!!
To sum up: the staf's attitude towards me as a customer is something that spoils the whole imperssion, makes me worry and want to lower my rate regardless of how good is the food or pretty is the interior. I personally am not...
Read moreThe food is delicious on certain days and hours. Otherwise you can end into oxydizes vegetables and not a lot of choices. So it is a bit the Russian roulette. I would advize to go there early and avoid crowded weekends.
Major issues :
lake of air exchange with the outside : the air is suffucatting at times even when the place is hald full. Too much CO2. lake of AC power : it feels hot at times in there. On the 1st floor, only 2 tiny AC heads. Clumsy staff : always in the way, especially the young ones and the kids. They don't have the idea to let the client go first. They will cut your way for any reasons without any apologize. Ice cube box : always opened. Not good for airborne infections. In general, food is in the open. No transparent protective lid to avoid airborne infections brought by the ventilation or clients being around. Almost all plates and ustensiles are made from plastic, that is really unhealthy. Chemicals are leached into the food from the plastic itself and inks, as well as nano and micro plastics. What is the point to eat vegan if we have to poison our bodies with endocrino perturbators. I remember the toilets are a mess
You will be much better served in places outside...
Read moreTL;DR: Don’t arrive any later than 1:30pm. Need to be able to overlook child labour.
We arrived at 1:30pm. The woman was really friendly. Paid 100k each for the buffet. We sat down and managed to get up a couple of times to enjoy the really delicious food. We didn’t eat anything we didn’t like.
But at 2pm the atmosphere changed. Despite being open till 2:30pm we saw a family get turned away. Then the woman started getting annoyed. Tapping her wrist and making us feel uncomfortable for being there. We wanted to chill and enjoy nibbling some of the dessert but it started getting cleared away so we had to rush. Not enjoyable at all. No one wants to feel like you’re fighting to eat.
On top of all that, and far worse really, were the quite young children. In uniform. Lugging around cutlery and having to do work there. They weren’t old enough to be “earning pocket money”. They’re stealing their childhoods and we didn’t...
