Central Park SaiGon Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Overall very good place to stay. Nice modern rooms with nice views of the park if you don’t mind spending the little bit extra.

The reception staff were excellent and some of the best I have come across during my travels that probably spans 50-75 hotels ranging from 3-5 star. Even though it’s a 3 star hotel the staff make it feel much better.

My only complaint would be construction, such as renovations above my room were going on until 10pm at night and started back up at 6:30-7am.

Gives you enough time to sleep but trying to take a nap due to travel exhaustion like I was lastnight was a bit difficult, so as a solo traveller with AirPods it’s not too bad. But if a small family with a young child were to be staying in this room it wouldn’t have gone as well.

But renovations are temporary and not related to reception staff, as they don’t control it, so if you stay here and hear any renovations going on which is bothering you, feel free to speak with reception but don’t come down with an attitude as both day and night reception are extremely professional and some of the kindest and best I have met.

After many times in Vietnam, this hotel will be on the list of good places to stay, especially if you need to book a room with short notice.

Big thank you to both Henry and his Female colleague who were both working on the morning of 17th sept 2025, they are more professional and even offer to bring your food to your room if you order something, I turned it down kindly. But these two deserve an award for excellence. After staying in most “best” hotels, 5 stars around hcmc and along coastal Vietnam, Henry would have to be the best I’ve come across, very eager to help and very friendly.

If anything would make me come back here, it’s the staff...

I check in the hotel, as it looks pretty nice in the lounge area. After we got to our room, I decided to lay down and rest for a while anyway; the mattress was horrible; I stayed at many hotels over the years, but this hotel bed is the worst. The coils of the spring were so firm that it hurt; there was no topper at all. So I was very uncomfortable, so I called the front desk staff, and they told me can you try to sleep on it well, I could not, so they ended up giving us a different room, well we did not notice when we got there, later I found out the fan of the AC unit was install right by the restroom window, all the heat air is flowing into the restroom and to the bedroom, but the portable unit airflow is straight to the window, that night we have to turn around and sleep on an angle of the bed. I was very disappointed and upset. I told the receptionists that they needed to give us the reimbursement for the two days that we were not able to stay, which they would not accommodate if you look at this Hotel; I tell you my advice is the Hotel Photos is not what it is, very unsanitary...

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful.

The room was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities. I especially appreciated the attention to detail – from the high-quality toiletries to the quiet, well-functioning air conditioning.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet – a fantastic variety of fresh and delicious options, including both local and international cuisine.

Location-wise, it was perfect – close to key attractions, dining options, and easy to get around. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers comfort, convenience, and top-tier service.

I will definitely be coming back on my next trip....
