Disappointing Experience — Lost Money, No Support, Beware Before Booking!
We had mistakenly booked the wrong dates for our hotel stay. Realizing this, we contacted the hotel more than 24 hours before check-in. Unfortunately, we were told that “since it’s already the check-in day,” there was absolutely nothing they could do.
We immediately contacted Agoda, who informed us that if the hotel agreed to waive the cancellation fee, Agoda could approve the refund. Agoda even tried multiple times to call the hotel (as shown in the screenshots), but the hotel refused to pick up any calls. Even after Agoda sent an email and attempted a callback, the hotel did not cooperate.
When we showed the hotel the proof that Agoda was trying to reach them, the hotel simply pushed the blame back, claiming it was “Agoda’s side” and refused to assist further. As a result, we lost a full 3 days of hotel payment without using the room — and received zero support from the hotel.
The customer experience was absolutely terrible — there was no willingness to work with us at all. For anyone considering booking this hotel, think twice.
I have booked over 50+ hotels worldwide, and in almost every case where mistakes like wrong dates happened, the hotels were willing to work things out — especially when contacted early enough. Sadly, this was not the case here.
This hotel seems relatively new, and perhaps because of the low occupancy (as you can see, many rooms are empty), they preferred keeping the money rather than building goodwill. When comparing this hotel to others, you will quickly notice the lower price and the lower service standards that come with it.
